TICK In My Side

I'm not sure where I picked up this Dog Tick?
When I pulled him out of my side, he took a piece of my skin too!
This Dog Tick is probably harmless, I get these on me regularly and just flick them off. If they do penetrate the skin, pull them out from the head and wash the area thoroughly.
