I literally asked myself the same question as soon as I heard them say there was paint thinner in the microwave. Having worked retail and fast food, I have seen my fair share of dumb shit in training videos and dumb training videos in general, but this takes the cake.

I feel the same about those unnecessary job interview questions. Like "Why do you want to work here?", "Why did you choose us?" My man, you know. People are there for money.

I've told them I'm here to be paid to every employer I've ever had I have got each and every job because there like your honest and I'm like for stupid questions I feel like I'm blunt more than. Honest
I realised recently the proper phrasing is “who told you about this job?”
If one of their parents did, or even filled out the application, then you know they can’t work independently. Another good one is “what’s the longest amount of time you’ve committed to a project/job” then you can expect the same level of commitment to your job.
Some interviews I have had are so generic the interviewer had clearly forgotten to question how they employer was going to get people to complete the work they are asking for.

I'm immature too, I work freight at a store, often I'm there from like 9pm-9am. One time I was on the Beauty/Shampoo aisle with a bunch of my co-workers including my manager. He was having trouble trying to figure out where the face mask stuff went. I pointed it out to him and he looked up above the section it went on, which had said Beauty or body-wash or something like that. He continued to go on to say "why doesn't this say facial or something, make it so much easier to find". I, and a few other co-workers, started giggling.
I chimed in after a bit and said "because then you'd have immature people like myself sitting there laughing for like 10 minutes". Everyone in the aisle started laughing out loud 😂
