Its actually fully cooked in the can too. You can eat it straight out of the can. They didnt need to cook it. He also f'd up the steak and kidney pie, you cook it in the package without the lid then put it on a plate, the dough cooks a bit and goes hard.
Everything she learned was in preparation for this.

I have to say I admire Ollie's courage. He takes really big bites and deals with the horrific flavor outcomes. Josh takes smaller bites then uses his hands to drum a beat of misery on the table. I had to laugh at Gabi - the second item she ate was so bad the only thing she could do was cover her eyes in horror as she at it! Ugh!
The fact that Gabie calmly ate the 2nd grossest thing while flipping out at the second mildest just says that she comes from a completely different world from Ollie. And that's really fun to see.
every episode where ollie orders the food, Josh does that 🤣🤣 the way you worded it made it that much better. He drums a beat of misery on the table

Gabbie, she's a special case. She's Korean, she studied cooking in France, and she lived in Spain as a child as well. None of these places have bad food either, and they're often not shy around weird food. Not only is her palate more developed than Josh and Ollie's, but probably most of the Jollybeans' as well.
Huitlacoche and pork brains are not bad food, they're just weird and hard to get around for people not used to them. But people eat them because they like them, not because they're healthy.
Nobody eats most of the other foods presented on the video. I think. How do they keep their business afloat is beyond me actually

The animal itself was likely a proper chicken. The real problem is the poor excuse of a cook that obliterated the chicken.
That might have been what broke Gabie, actually, since she's a cook and would never achieve such (visual) atrocity if she tried.

I love that Gabbie covers her eyes (as if that will make the pie taste better) while Josh is obliviously just sitting there describing the textures and appearence.
To be fair to Fray Bentos, they did sort of reverse the order of preparation (should be nuked in the container before turning out onto the plate), and a visit to the Magnetron never does food any favours.
Having sampled both, the old original version - larger, cooked in the slightly vented tin in boiling water - is considerably better than the wee single-serve one.
Why is that every time Gabie is in this channel, she is being tortured by horrible food? 😂

Olly! Next time reach out to the viewers and ask them to send in canned foods. I can easily buy the Sweet sue whole chicken for less than $5 american. My Mum used to keep about 10 of the whole canned chickens around for quick chicken casseroles and soups

This "canned whole chicken" is actually good for making "chicken & rice". Just be sure to thoroughly debone it. There are small bone pieces. I have several cans in my preps stash.
I just found this channel and I have to say, watching all these videos makes me so... JOLLY! Even on the rainiest of days Josh and Ollie NEVER fail to make me cry laughing. Also i thought it was so cute that Gabbie is laughing kidnve the same way josh does xD

i mean, in fairness to the food, its obvious the canned elk at least, wasnt heated up. that kind of stuff is meant to be mixed with some kind of medium while you cook it. Usually rice, or instant mashed potatoes.
