    Milwaukee Tool pushed forward with four new Infrared Temp Guns that feature very clear and easy to read screens screens and fast scanning. These tool are used in applications across a variety of trades including Electrical, HVAC, Building Construction and Automotive, but they really have a place in everyone tool box and can be used for almost any task involving temperature. One of the first items we noticed on the new infrared temp guns was a fully bumpered nose, shielded LCD and more over-molding. You can set these tools down in many positions and not risk damage. Milwaukee also claims these are impact resistant and able to survive drops of up to 6ft. The quality of construction and rugged design will allow these instruments to live through the travel and jobsite abuse most will take during the tools life. Once we started to use the tool in low light, bright florescent light and even in direct sunlight, we found that the screen was always easy to read at all times.

    I’ve been trying to look into these. It seems the 12 volt is only available in the 10:1 and 20:1 the 9 volt is the only I can find with 30:1

    I’m about to pick one up to pulp freight. I’ve replaced about 5 of the cheaper non Milwaukee guns. They always break. Hopefully I have better luck with this

    Your tactor has a regen? LOL ....You must be enjoying CARB in Cali. I can't tell you enough about how great it feels after turnning off the regen system on my classic Pete with a C15. BTW, the Milwaukee infered gun is awsome. I got the M12 model, and it works great.

    I just pissed in a cup and it read 93 so accuracy is somewhat a variable

      John Meadows lol. The cup could have cooled it.... or the beer never got time to get warm. :)

      Also remember this is infrared and as such doesn’t take as accurate reading on liquids.

    Do you think the
    DEWALT DCT414S1 12-Volt Max Infrared Thermometer Kit is a better way to go ?

    • @jamesfair9751
      @jamesfair9751 Před 2 lety

      The Dewalt is more expensive can’t read as high of temperature and is only 12:1 ratio

    • @jamesfair9751
      @jamesfair9751 Před 2 lety

      Granted the Dewalt comes with battery and charger and the Milwaukee in kit form would probably be about the same price the Milwaukee still reads higher temps and greater accuracy.

    Can i check my body temperature with this

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  Před 4 lety +2

      Yes, but it will be very sensitive. It will check the surface temp and if you walk in from outside, it might be higher if it is warm out.

  • @elie2011

      It can and we have messed with it like that, but I do not know if it should be used for that.
