Yes, if you have them laying around but probably over kill.
From experience the steel valve stems break off-road more than any other valve stem. There’s no flex in them. I always had luck with the short regular rubber valve stems just change them every couple years before they start dry cracking.
Good point! I see full steel stems on older sets of steel wheels and tires every now and then (the kind with nuts). Valid point though id rather have something give a little. I always thought steel was popular in off road because heavy mud would rip rubber right out. I know an e range tire require steel valve but the base is like a standard valve stem.
@@Zacpactv I’ve ran e rated tire on 1 of my off-road rigs but a standard valve stem was fine because they never saw more than 40psi because most beadlock wheels aren’t rated to go much higher than that. Off-road they lived around 10-12 psi. Most trucks running load range E tires as they were intended are too big and heavy to really be usable for heavy off-roading.

I would always recommend metal valves for a motorcycle.
