    I cannot free me, The EGO cant set the EGO free, you cannot free free yourself from yourself, GRACE of GURU is essential and key. The on seeking enlightenment needs to disappear. WOW!, so well said, Many salutations to Guru's wisdom and Satpal Singh ji for explaining this so eloquently. The only fault is that you believe YOU ARE. Beautiful example about rental car. The bliss that comes to you is even not your bliss. Ocean is not what wave is asking for, wave will simply become ocean and be in bliss just like the ocean has been.

    Gurfateh Veerji. Your recordings are amazing and gives a lot of information. I have a question? The concept of being no control on the happenings, so it means for example I can walk away from all the wrong doings I did by saying that nothing is in my control. So what makes me do wrong things? Please advise. Thanks very much in advance. Waheguruji Ka Khalsa Shri Waheguruji Ki Fateh Ji.

  • @foxdenham
    @foxdenham Před rokem

    I lean towards the teachings of humility, as I surrender to the Is-ness of life, as I let go of the fiction that I am somehow separate, but... Why is 'bliss' the barometer for connection with the divine? I have been drawn towards truth and emptied so much over the years, that for me to think I am a powerful separate self capable of doing anything, is somewhat foolish. So much so that, 'knowing that I don't know', has become instantiated in by being, and in turn I can do nothing but surrender (even the things that my habitual body/mind does not know, or want to surrender... I surrender). I have felt pockets of bliss over the years and am generally at peace internally, but I wouldn't say that bliss was my companion. To elaborate - what about the many people who suffered, and doubted? I think of Jesus on the cross who said, "Father, why have you forsaken me?" He say's 'Father' which implies a oneness, and always taught self emptying and non duality during his life, yet bliss was not first and foremost an indicator of oneness or being attachment free. If we are not as free as we think we are, and that God is the arbiter of all things, and grace is a gift, then surely suffering can accompany relationship with the divine and can be just as much a gift who's fruits unfold over time? My concern is that aspects of this teaching may convince simple and genuinely inspired followers that they are 'not' in relationship because they don't feel bliss, which for me lacks compassion and mystery. Please, put me right if anyone thinks I am wrong in my observations/conjecture. I speak with the realisation that I myself do not fully know what is going on.

    Honestly I need help. I have fallen off the path so many times. I’d consider myself a shiva devotee and no longer ritualistic or require idols to understand the aspects of the universe, but every time I watch a video, read or listen to the bani of the guru or in the presence of a Sikh I am reminded of why I’m following the path. I need help with staying on the path and not constantly wavering off.

    Please help me to understand. You mentioned, "when you are willing to let go, you won't have attachments." but you also mentioned before that we are powerless, everything happens by True Guru's grace. Even we are listening and watching your video is happening by His hukkam. If that's true, it means we don't have power to let go attachments unless the True guru allows us to do so. I'm getting so confused. if everything happens by his hukkam then all worries, anxieties, willing to stay attached or detached, naam simran ..everything comes from Him, then there should not be a question for me, "are you willing to let go?" Am I missing something? Any help from anyone would be appreciated!

    U R NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ENLIGHTENMENT AND U R NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MIS-ENLIGHTENMENT AND IT ALL HAPPENS BY GRACE...A MIND BOGGLING LINE...U R NOT RESPONSIBLE BCOZ U R NOT THERE ONLY...BEING MANNMUKH(FACING EGO) OR GURMUKH(FACING LIGHT) IS NOT I DECIDE , ITS DECIDED BY ONENESS ITSELF BCKZ ONENESS ALSO PLAY A ROLE OF GURU..SOMETIMES I THE CHARACTER AMAR ARORA THINKS THAT M GETTING DEATTACHED WITH THE THINGS AROUND AND GURUS WISDOM IS SEEPING IN AND SOMETIME I THINK M STILL IN THOSE ATTACHEMEMTS.. THATS WHY ITS THE COSMIC PLAY OF ONENESS , SOMETIMES IT CREATES THOUGHT TO ITSELF AND IDENTIFIES WITH THE MIND BODY (MOVING TOWARDS DARKNESS) AND ON ITS OWN WISH SOMETIMES IT CREATES THE THOUGHT OF ABSORBING GURUS WISDOM TO ITSELF TO MOVE TOWARDS THE LIGHT, SO ONENESS IS PLAYING WITH ITSELF , I THE CHARACTER AMAR ARORA DOESNT EXSIST ONLY ,THATS WHY JAP JI SAHIB SAYS IKNA HUKMI BAKSIS IK HUKUMI SADA BHAVAAIYE...WHO IS THAT IK , WHICH GETS BLESSED AND WHO IS THAT IK WHICH WANDERS, I THINK MAY BE THE ONENESS IS TALKING ABOUT ITSELF BCKZ WHEN ALL FORMS HIS , THEN LEAST ONENESS CARES WHICH FORM GOES TO DARKNESS AND WHICH FACES LIGHT , BCKZ ITS A COSMIC PLAY SO ITS PLAYING WITH ITSELF...THE CHARACTER , ITS CIRCUMSTANCES ,PROBLEMS R JUST ILLUSIONS ...KINDLY SHARE UR WISDOM , IF I SAID SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY LEAST UNDERSTANDING BCKZ WHO IS SPEAKING THRU ME IS THE ONENESS ONLY WHICH IS DELUDING ME

      Logically and intellectually correct.
      However as long as the sense of individuality is there it should be acknowledged and respected accordingly. Until such time oneness becomes a lived reality one exists in two planes of reality.
      The path is excruciatingly difficult and subtler than the subtlest.

    Q. If you are true & right in your assessment of the Guru's statement that ' bliss comes from The Guru in grace ' , then how does one achieve or gain that Guru's grace?
    Reading that scripture meditating on it even knowing its meaning will not bring you that grace. Who gets that grace is pre-ordained before their birth here. It is a rare gift & not common, so all your preach will not gain Anyone that grace as you are Not a Guru you lead people astray. Think it over !

    When you say the “Guru” says…
    Do you mean “Guru” as in the all prevailing God or do you mean Guru Nanak Ji or Guru Gobind Singh Ji?
    To me, there is only ONE GOD, one divine energy.
    The “gurus”, saints, prophets, deities, etc in all regions/cultures, are enlightened beings or blessed or special in some way beyond our “human-ness”. But they are not “God”, they’re messengers most likely.
    Again, not sure what you mean when you say, “Guru says”… which Guru?
