Are you the one doing the actual creating? Or is life using you to create (while Maya deludes you into thinking YOU'RE doing the creating? So, we're not the actual doers, the "Karta Purkh" (see his explanation of mool mantar)...and with this, we can be carefree...and therein lies the beauty and bliss. Be well dear brother.

Mantra and meditation allows the separation to take place. The candle metaphor is there just to give you a general idea of what to look for (and be aware of)... But ultimately, you have to walk the path and experience it for yourself.

Hi, a quick Question if you believe in The Oneness of The Creator, is Guru Nanak is a prophet, a teacher or something else, but the teachings of Guru Nanak are no different then of any prophet and I respect him and the sikh community a lot... love and respect for all the Sikh community from Lahore, Pakistan

Hi Adeel, Guru Nanak dev Ji was a prophet in a way but he was also the creator himself, he respected Muslims and Hindus alike. There are many writings of Bhagat Farid Ji and Bhagat Kabir and many Hindus bhagats like bhagat Nam dev Ji etc. if you want to know more about Guru Nanak Dev Ji I highly recommended the book: The Greatest Of All Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

@@shawadeel Sikh God :- He is one, true, he is creator, beyond birth and death, without parents. Formless and genderless.
And Guru Nanak sahib was Prophet of Waheguru (Sikh name for God) ...he never claimed that he is Waheguru.....
and then he choose his second successor to preach message of Waheguru..... and then he choose his successor,,, and we Sikhs have 10 gurus....

god is watching over us, he is separate from us watchin over us. this is monotheism. in hinduism, its the opposite god is the universe, they cannot be separate, they are one and the same. guru nanak merges these together, guru nanak brings the complete truth. guru nanak says youre both right. its the complete truth. and guru is a function of god, the highest function.
