Amen.. Garrison Bros is good juice but MAN are they proud of it and the prices reflect it. Ironroots single barrel proofs aren’t as expensive as Garrisons basic offering and it’s a SOLID Texas whisky.
It's a good bottle it's just not worth the price. $50-$60 bottle maybe.

It's not. The wording is tricky. "Straight Bourbon Whiskey Infused with honey" 🤷

It actually doesn’t have any honey in it. It’s bourbon barrel that they use old bourbon barrel staves infused with honey. They put those staves in barrels for 6-7 months and it gives a sweet profile. But not much different than what makers does.
All Garrison Brothers Bourbon just tastes like wood to me and a lot of it. Not a fan of

Garrison, Balcones and TX are all very proud Texan whisky distillers and their prices are a huge indicator. Ironroots won more significant awards than Garrison ever has and it’s a fraction of the price by comparison.

Cause they don’t make a million bottles like large distilleries. They are a craft distillery. Just as craft beer is twice as much as a beer.
