FYI/Update: I tried Dawn Power Wash and it was perfect!
1. It’s a mild detergent
2. It already comes in a spray bottle
3. It doesn’t drip down onto the clean litter
4. It works beautifully for WEEKLY cleaning! (Prior to this I did a semi annual deep clean only) 😢

Yet another update. My darling little boy is such a priss that I’ve ended up using it to wipe down the inside daily and he’s over the moon! The things we do for the cats we love 🙄🤣
We use standard 13 gallon trash bags. The drawstring at the top forms a nice edge for the tabs to grip.

Ty so much for this video! I’ve always taken my litter robot outside to clean which always means I need to wait until I have a day off and nice weather which can be a challenge. I never thought of just using a spray bottle, vacuum and paper towels! This was much more practical for my life. Both my boxes are now clean. ❤

Good video, thanks. But you didn't point out the tabs in the back when you are putting the top back on. If they aren't in, it won't cycle. I found this out after a few months of having mine 😂

I can’t remember what I used at the time of making the video, but I was told that these are good to use: vinegar, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide-based cleaners.

Did you press the reset button? Is the bag in the drawer empty?
Reset button and make sure you're using the right liner..if not I suggest you to check the DFI sensor.

Can you wash the filter or does it have to be replaced?
I believe they are meant to be replaced. But I imagine that if you clean 🧽 me and dry it well before use, you’ll get more life out of it.
Why does it smell so acidic so quickly after cleaning it? Mine barely lasted a week before it started smelling again. Does the plastic/rubbery insides need to be soaked or something? I dont see how that is even possible cause it's inside the sphere. There's no removing it from that.
If the liner is old, it probably needs to be replaced. They sell liner replacements on the website, and it is very easy to remove there are videos on here about how to do it
What about the rubber piece? Can’t that easily come off to clean or replace?
I wouldn’t advise trying to remove it. It’s integral to the machine because the bottom is weighted.
Mine only lasted a week before it started smelling really bad again. I wish there was a way to disinfect that liner a little better. I think I just used soap and water last time, so maybe I will use baking soda and vinegar this time.
Can you put the globe in a bathtub?
I don’t see why not. As long as it’s just the globe - no electronic parts.
I do but I hate doing that because litter grains get stuck in the drain. Never can seem to get every little piece! I found this video because I was looking for a simpler method, especially in the winter months
Get a drain guard maybe just for this purpose.
Does anyone have a cat that pees on their tiptoes & has to deep clean (hose it dwn) 2x month??💝 Also, what abt cleaning behind the strainer door?💝
