Earthquake Ready or Not: What you need to know about the Cascadia Subduction Zone

  • The Cascadia Subduction Zone is a 620-mile-long fault that stretches from British Columbia to Northern California, and pressure along the fault builds daily. Right now the fault is locked, but geologists say one day the pressure will become too much and that lock will break. When that happens it’ll result in one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded, a magnitude 9 or possibly even greater.

    The quake that happened is japan back in 2010 is a great example of what it will look like for the north west!

    A man who Forecasting Volcanos states it will be in a couple weeks time. He’s praying his forecasting is early but there’s too much activity taking place. Go to Emergency Management Associates here on CZcams
