This is probably the most comic accurate relationship between Peter and Eddie. I seriously wish this wasn't a card game.

It is but it isn't. Animations are so clean it blurs the line between card and action game
When it's on sale I highly recommend it. Also while cards are how you make plays I would says it's more inline with a TRPG like Fire Emblem

The cards are just like a menu system it’s no different from say dragon age inquisition just turn based rpg combat
I have such a big smile on my face after watching it. I love how Eddie and Venom were written in this.
For eddie, he is not hate parker just like before, he even want to be a good with peter. But for venom, depending on venom mood.

Venom is Venom just feeling hungry as that's in its nature.
Overall I'm happy with the writing in this, wasn't expecting a game like this to have this much love and effor put into it. It's a breath of fresh air to see this.

Eddie and the *Symbiote together are Venom--not one of them alone. That's one thing ai appreciate this game for, they got Venom right to the T.
I love that this game is more for the comic book fans, then the MCU fans. the designs, characters, references,and hell even some of the voice actors are from comics and 90's-2000's cartoons, man this game is such a love letter to fans.

The cutscenes from this game are the only thing that's made me happy as a comic fan in years but why why WHY!? Does it have to be a card game?! Literally anything would have been better

Thanks for the clips! It's so refreshing to see Eddie Brock getting this much focus in a modern game. Heck, they even gave him the classic flattop haircut and caterpillar eyebrows! I love the character moments in this, great stuff!

Same here, mate, I was really disappointed Venom didn't have a bigger role in the movie. I would've thought after Let There Be Carnage, he would. Regardless of what the critics say, I love the Venom movies, because Venom is and always will be my top favorite Marvel

I’m not surprised. It’s not the first time he made a deal with Mephisto, but it was always for good reasons. That’s one of things I love about Spider-Man, he always does things, even when extreme, to save anyone, even his enemies. That’s probably why Mephisto said “I’ll see you around.”

Spider-Man (or his daughter Mayday, depending on the timeline) are always the only one who stands up to Mephisto during the invasion of the Earth after the other heros fall
The balls these game designers had to have SPIDER-MAN of all people singing the deal with Mephisto.

Venom’s voice actor is must be the same one who did Straga from Darksiders.
Venom is voiced by Darin De Paul, Straga was Troy Baker, I don't know who voices Eddie but it's not Troy.

Now that I think about it, I don't think eddie has ever been in a legit team, small team up yes, but never part of a group.

Wish it was carnage that was turned into Lilith thrall. And oh Peter never make a deal with devil.
This game does Eddie so well. His relationship with Spider-Man is pitch perfect and he’s a pretty likeable guy. I like his voice actor a lot. His design is also pretty cool. It doesn’t stray that far from the classic Venom design which is good. Venom is a funny character especially when interacting with Mephisto. There is an air of sadness in the character when he’s in the church. Spider-Man helps him overcome his self doubt and the two work as a unit to fight Dracula.
In opinion this game did a better job depecting Venom then Marvels Spider-Man 2 did.

Blade was in 1st DLC with Deadpool. Since Venom is coming to Midnight Suns team, it has to be with Spider-Man, considering they're both connected from comics, wouldn't make sense with Blade.
Whole Season Pass thing with 4 characters coming, I'm assuming it only has one storyline and it has to do with Vaympyre one, not everything surrounds around Blade though.
Blade becomes team leader in the final story mission with all the dlc characters

I think some events from the comics didn’t happen. Tony mentions that he could launch the hulk into space as if he’s never done it before. So that means the Sakaar and World War Hulk incident never happened.

If this was anything like how avengers combat was with this game I'd definitely buy it cause the graphics are amazing and the story looks to be cool just wish it wasn't a stupid card game..
From someone who already has 200+hrs, id say give it a shot first. It may not be real time action but its still fun
Lol I also have over 200 hours. Best game of 2022 for me..maybe ever. It has cards but it's not a Card Game. It's a Card Battler. It's like any turn based game like Final Fantasy or Yakuza Like a Dragon but instead of selecting text like "attack" or "summon Ifrit" the skills in this game are represented by cards. It's very deep and extremely fun. I'll take this over Elden Ring or GoW any day
