- Lesson on a style that is similar to upper structure triads. Octaves are used in the right hand with random notes in between - mostly 4ths or 5ths and sometimes notes that form triads (upper structure).

Thank you so so so much. This video was very helpful. Lots of regards from India♥
Thank you Tony.
Un très grand merci pour cette vidéo, comme pour de nombreuses autres. Vos conseils sont vraiment riches d'enseignements, dans un réel esprit de partage. Respect...
thank you Tony for breaking down this masterpiece of George Benson, great musician of all times😀👌👍
He's one of my all time favorites.
@@TonyWinston for me the same, have records of the time which he played on a OGD,was very young, excellent.
One of my favourite tunes. Thanks for covering it!
Very informative and inspiring as usual. You cleared up a question that has been bugging me for a week: #5 #9 can be looked at as #9 b13, which I've seen far more often. Thanks, Tony!
excellent master!!!
Terrific!!
Awesome, thanks🎹👍
Fantastic playing, fabuloso shirt! 🌹🌲🌹
Great lesson, like your teaching style, not too dragged out.
Impresionante clase magistral del tema. Muchas gracias Maestro Tony.
Suggestion: you should play the transcription of the solo Jorge Dalto played on This Masquerade' by George Benson. One of the best piano solos ever recorded.
So nice Sen Sei...!!! Tkyou..!!!
Thanks René !
Excellent lesson, Tony. Love your improvs. Not 100% sure this song is right for "Big Piano" but you make it cool, somehow. Thanks, Amigo.
Que grosooooooo Tony!!!!!!!!!!
Another insightful, mind-expanding lesson. And, a fond memory or two of Walt Harper's attic in Pittsburgh. I loved hanging out there many years ago. Thank you Mr. Winston!
Tony...
That was a great spot oh, I'm sure it's long gone. I saw manyard Ferguson at another jazz club in Pittsburgh, maybe 20 years ago or more, and some of his band members were from West Virginia University, about 80 miles to the South. I grew up in that University Town, Morgantown West Virginia
I’m a beginner and working on this song for a little while. I can confidently play this in the way the lead sheet is written. I really like how you present the different piano styles at the end of the video. I don’t if I’m skilled enough to play what you described as “BIG PIANO” style but a absolutely loved what you did. I’m wondering if you have any beginner tips on that style.
Great stuff, like your teaching style, not too much talk ,like some, this focuses more on the music.
A musica e de grande desafio, tem acorde característico do JAZZ com extensões de 9º e 13º entre outras, o que da a harmonia uma grande sonoridade além do swing. O estudo feito pelo maestro neste video, convida ao estudos desta musica.
Please play a jazz improvisation to the theme "Masquerade".
The pleasure of listening to your game! Thank you!
Bello Tony what is the chors, cuales son los Acordes.en Fm
