I flew Condor to New York a month ago. It was an excellent flight, great crew, great seat, great food. The A330neo is a very good addition to their fleet. The cabin is visually appealing, too. Very well designed! I appreciate that Condor is expanding and serving more markets and destinations, offering more competition from the Frankfurt hub (I live in the vicinity). The new branding is also very creative - I like it! LH has to catch up to compete head-to-head with them. Most of the many Allegris seat options look less appealing than Condor's offering.

I flew in February 2023 from Punta Cana to Frankfurt and it was a bad experience. My seat in business class was broken, it could not move at all, and I was given a voucher for EUR 200 to use at another flight with Condor. However, I will try to avoid Condor in future.
I’m doing this same flight, in Business Class, next week. So the timing of this video is impeccable.

I have been flying Condor for a decade between SEA > FRA and back. I was thrilled to fly this new business class product when it was first introduced last year and as recently as this month (April 24). For the price, you cannot beat this airplane and business class especially on the SEA > FRA route. Lounge access in FRA is perfect, although any lounge at Seatac is just...ok. So yes, I was just in the lounge at the beginning of the video. It has never been crowded or loud and is always clean. It's especially nice that Condor departures are just below the entrance in FRA!

Those German breads and cold cuts - man, I spent 1 week in Kiel and I did not eat all the breads and cold cuts in the Berliner Hof breakfast! I LOVE GERMANY!

Wow, I love this flight! The lounge area has very nice seats and tables, better than standard public airport waiting areas! Every food course looks superbly delicious and well prepared! Hungry! One of the best looking food I ever saw offered on airplanes! Hope it was as tasty as it looked. The seats also look very nice as the cabin LED lights. Condor gained many stars with me.

I flew Condor on the B753 and B763. Always highly motivated and friendly crews, good food and more beverage service than usual, even in economy. Economy seating is very dense, "premium" means only more legroom, but the new business product seems to be very decent. Will definitively try it one day.
I always love the continuous shot going from the clouds outside, to the interior of the aircraft that you always make on your flight videos. It reminds me of the movie Catch Me if You Can, which has a scene with a similar camera movement 19:36

I like the lounge, its appears provide good enough range of food selection, and some place to work;
On the plane, the bag of mattress toper looks quite elegant! So as the cute salt and pepper shaker!

Being an old fashionned traveller, I TRULY miss First class lounges with carpet, no cantine like set-ups and noises, dress code in effect and, above all, quietness!
Excellent review as usual. I have heard of Condor, but have never flown with them. I was impressed with the A330neo. The muted cabin decor suits my taste and is preferable to some of the "over the top" cabins you see on some other airlines. The food looked pretty good and fresh and I liked the salt and pepper shaker. I was impressed by the IFE, which is one of the best I have seen. When I started travelling many years ago, you were lucky if there was background music onboard. It was great to see a Lufthansa 747 on the taxiway in Frankfurt. Overall. it looked like a good flight.
Will be flying this again with no regrets

Have you thought of re-visiting Soneva Kiri again? I wonder how you would find the stay today. The resort is aging, is it still as fantastic as it was 4 years ago, at your last visit? Can it keep up the high Soneva standard, not having had any major refurbishments, new add on, nor upgrades since it first opened.
The hotel was super hyped 10 years ago, but would it still amaze you or would it have lost some of its magic?

Hey Traveler. I wondered which Condor jet you'd be flying. Gabriel over at Flight Radar 24, was on this aircraft when it came into service, when it was being moved from final outfitting/inspections to the departure airport. The Trans Atlantic flight takes the "Just In Case" North crossing over the far NL and Labrador Canada coasts, down into the U.S. Up North is a great view in the winter time up there. I bet you could do some iceberg spotting crossing that far north in the daylight.
Well, Lufthansa has also launched their new Allegris Cabin including new economy, premium and business seats although not the new first class, they still need to be authorized.
All I can say that the LH Allegris business class didn't amazed me much and that I actually prefer Condor's business class.
I also would rather fly with Condor than with Lufthansa.

@@luxurytravelexpert oh no no, I would never even have the chance to fly business. It's a bit dumb to criticize things you haven't even tried.
I just wanted to say what I don't like about the LH Allegris Business.
One: I don't really like the color scheme of the business, it's just grey and grey with exception of the seat itself and the armrests.
Two: The four to five seat types. Why making it so difficult? Why not making all business seats equal with maybe an exception with the first row?
I know it's custom made by Lufthansa and it's definitely a step forward but it's just not for me...
There are just many other Airlines who give better service, better seats (economy in my case), better inflight meals or a better price than Lufthansa. Only good about Lufthansa is the B747 and A340.

Wonderful trip report. It's lovely to be on a brand-new A330-900Neo, but personally, I don't like the livery. The cabin inside was beautiful though.

Decent lounge though it can, & does, get a bit crowded. I was unaware that Condor flew such distances. I thought they only went to European destinations (Euro domestic).
They actually have a world-wide network, serving many destinations in the Caribbean, North America, the Indian Ocean and Africa

Interesting carrier... Though, as a purist, I have a problem with a Business Class labeled product with airlines caetring to leisure market exclusively. Bref, what airport is showing at 34:28 ? Pittsburg maybe?

The cabin is cute, the amenities kit is a great idea using as card board instead of a bag but the products are kinda meh.
What are like abt business class and up is the lack of economic faces there and children and animals .
Wonder if European/Asian and African companies welcome pets in their planes like in Us.

I do like your videos a great deal, but the air safety videos and promotion footage detract. The food? Yes! More of what you ate and are served onboard. Seat layout and how it works, how much room do you have in it? Yes! Definitely include. History of the airline, for sure. But the airline trying to greencredit itself is not important. Your videos are best in the half hour format.
