Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I think the stripe livery and branding is brilliant. It stands out, it's fun and their overall product is on par with Lufthansa and makes them a solid choice. The tight legroom in economy is probably the only real drawback.
Yeah... when i was looking up the economy legroom I had to check a couple sites becuase 30" just sounds like a big nope to me
The hard product is far superior to LH, but that's not too hard to accomplish. Sucks on most of their planes.
@@johniii8147 The new business class is in many ways. And the extra inch or two in economy wouldn't be a big sway in favour of LH for me.
The livery of Condor is great, it stands out, and that is exactly the goal. Well done Condor.👍
I don’t know why this guy keeps calling Condor’s new livery “odd.” This shows conformity and lack of imagination. Like you, I think it’s great! I think it’s more appropriate for Lufthansa’s “leisure” airline, which originally took passengers to vacation destinations, than to have a lot of cartoon characters plastered all over the outside of the aircraft.
I certainly cannot complain about anything on Condor. I recently flew from Split to Munich for the ridiculous price of 40 Euros. The aeroplane was clean, on time and crew very friendly. Drinks and snacks for sale on board but for 75 minutes, water was fine. It was a glorious day so flying over the Austrian and German Alps made that a memorable day. Because we were a little early we were vectored in slow circles over the German farmland and lakes at a remarkably low level and it was obvious the pilots were enjoying every minute of this flight so the first officer spent time chatting about where we were and what was happening. He was standing at the cockpit door as we disembarked so I said to him " I think you really enjoyed that flight as much as I did ".............he smiled and said " I certainly did ".
The new Condor livery is most definitely not "rather odd" but new & inovative, I just love it, particularly the blue "sea" version which is just so beautiful to my eyes. I've never actually flown with Condor but I would love to have the opportunity to do so sometime soon.

It amazes me how this business class product beats lufthansa's in all planes 😆. Privacy, technology, and just product is far better than Lufthansa's at half the price.

Loved this review. And the experience you got onboard, looks exceptional. I love the Livery. Since the first time I saw it I couldn't believe it. Your video is the reason I booked my first ever Business class flight for June 5. LAX to FRA
I am flying them in September and cannot wait to try it. So excited. Although i am flying premium economy. Love the look of the cabin and i like the new livery and branding. Unique
We upgraded to Business from Frankfurt to Toronto in Oct 23, and WOW what a joy it was. We got to enjoy the lovely lounge and the Food omg so much food, chocolates, drinks, and the Staff on this plane were wonderful. Got home and booked PE from Brussel to Toronto with them again....just maybe will get the chance to ungrade again.
I wonder if they use a330neo from Toronto to Frankfurt always. I am flying in August

JFI, on a day flight, for example Frankfurt to Seattle, the Cheese will be served after the Main Course. On your flight ( Nightime) its placed on the Starterplate to give the Passengers more time for sleep.

I’m not sure if it’s just you or if the Neo is quiet, but I’m also impressed! It was interesting an AA B737-800 was landing at Boeing Field just after you took off!
Recently flew Condor's business class product on a transatlantic flight and have to say it met or exceeded my expectations on just about all counts. The modern touch screens were superb and made watching films a true joy. Cabin crews going each way were great although some were apparently still a little green. The business class product is up to date and not stuck in the past like Lufthansa, which charges about double. Only the Condor app doesn't work as intended and I was not able to check in online either way despite receiving emails prompting me to do so.
Seattle looks awesome on a sunny day!! I never knew the sun came out there.
Oh it often does. Rains a lot but a lot of sunny beautiful days.
We only get like 2-3 months if straight sunshine lol

Used to live in seattle. Beautiful place to visit and live. It is most definitely a place people should want to visit but it is over crowded so gladd for people to visit but living there can be a bit expensive.

Thanks for the great review! The food looked delicious and the crew seemed awesome. I'm planning a trip to Germany for April, so I will def fly Condor, and I think I'll do Premium Economy, with the hope I can bid on Business Class closer to departure. Oddly enough, Premium Economy, with window seat selection, is exactly the same price as Economy Basic on Lufthansa right now: $1339 (SEA-FRA).

Hmm leisure carrier maybe, but in the main season (Summer, Christmas, school holidays) Condor's prices are on Lufthansa level, if not even higher some times. Especially their economy is not worth it during those times, no one in their right mind should pay 500€ one way FRA-JFK on a non-flexible economy ticket that only includes one piece of hand luggage and charges you between 40€ and 200€ FOR A SEAT RESERVATION. If you don't travel when everyone is traveling, they have a lot of good deals though!

18:00 The A 330's Lufthansa uses are relatively old ) but still in good shape ) so you can't compere the products. Lufthansa's new business class which they will feature in their first 777-9 will be top notch with the latest screens. The word shame is completely wrong here.
How does the price point for Condor business compare to say Lufthansa, or American or United? Good vlog btw…😎
What did you go to Germany for and how long
I like the rebrand. It's distinct from the dominant white fueslage with colorful (95% blue variations). The way they have aircraft in a range of colors brings to mind Braniff's Flying Colors.
I had a bad experience with Condor on February 20 2023, from Punta Cana to Frankfurt. My very expensive business class seat was broken and I had to sit as if I am in economy class. It was not possible to move a seat in lie flat position and I was given a voucher 200 EUR. I sent a complaint to Condor but without result. I am surprised that there was no effort to find another flight, or if there are no available seats in business class to simply exchange seats with another passenger so that two persons could at least for some time have opportunity to rest on this 10 hour flight.
My memory of Condor (although never flown them) was that it was long ago, a charter carrier--no idea when it became a scheduled airline. I don't care for the brown/white alternate stripe livery nor the seating cloth pattern--looks very '70's ! So you arrive in Frankfurt--did you sightsee for a few days or overnight and fly home? Grammar Nazi that I am, your use of 'queue' is wrong--should be 'cue'--'Queue' is a line of people. Spectacular views of Seattle and that shot of the AA metal on final at SEA, wow! Noticed you used your Mexico passport--do you encounter less hassle from TSA or airline personnel if this passport is presented vs a US-issued one? Noticed that Icelandair flight holding while the pilot did the engine start--by the time you lifted off, that aircraft took your spot!

This new livery looks very much like the uniform of PRISONERS in old movies.
The first time I saw it I immediately made the connection.

I will fly on Condor eventually, but the desire to fly on 747's and other classic aircraft lead me to fly on LH.
