Do I have to do all this to get to where my dash vin tag is located?or is there a shortcut?
Sorry, but I don't know where the dash vin tag is located
What year challenger are you putting it in????
I’ve been dying to see that dash work in a 2014 or older car
My dodge 2017. I do not know if this is suitable for cars 2008-2014
I thought that same thing till I saw it working in a dodge magnum but they ain’t giving no details who knows what they paid 😎
What city are you in? I have a 2011 challenger and currently wanting to swap out the trunk for new age lights and also want to swap the 11 cluster board with at least a 15 cluster . Is that possible?! I’d pay you to do it!!
Now I live in Kharkov, Ukraine. Unfortunately I can not help you, but I think it will be a good improvement for your challenger
Where did you get your dash? I can’t find them anywhere for less that 1200
Yes, it's true! I bought dash for 1385 with shipping
Look on Facebook market I found one for 250 with steering wheel but no steering wheel air bag
Did you have to remove the steering wheel to swap this out? I'd like to try and leave mine attached if possible.
You don't need to remove the steering wheel to remove the dash, just push it toward you and down.
Thanks! I’m going to be doing this soon. Do you recommend removing all the duct work sections (driver, passenger, and the center section that’s screwed to the dash panel) out all together? Looks like you kept the drivers section in the car when you did yours.
@@brandonsmith5827 You must remove all sections of the air duct or you will not be able to remove the instrument panel without damaging the windshield heating duct.
@@brandonsmith5827 To remove the air ducts unscrew the screws at the racks, remove the clip in the center and be sure to remove the screw that is behind the dashboard, this screw is the most difficult to access
Is there just one screw back there and is that the one you show in your video?
How long did it take to complete and what’s the hardest part of doing this ?
I replaced the panel in one day (about 6 hours), the hardest part was unscrewing all the screws of the air ducts on the driver's side
@@_demon1k_how did you remove that screw on the driver side air vent that very top one under the dash
@GrindHardChamp To unscrew this screw, you need to:
1. unscrew and remove the instrument panel
2. unscrew all the screws that hold the dashboard in place
3.feel with your hands through the opening of the dashboard this screw and using a 7mm wrench you can unscrew it by a quarter of a turn.
Be prepared that it will not work right away, but as soon as you get the hang of it you will be able to unscrew it.
It is screwed in the same way, but use some film to protect the noise insulation of the dashboard, so that it is not damaged when unscrewing this screw.
@@_demon1k_ thank you man 🙏🏽 I’ll try that out I was having a hard time unscrewing that one been at it for hrs now
@GrindHardChamp Yeah, it took me a long time to unscrew it too, but I got it back on pretty quick. Don't give up and you will succeed!
Is it possible to change the dashboard and infotainment system of the hellcat to look like a Mercedes
I think it is possible, but it will be expensive and it will take a lot of work
Not sure why you’d wanna do that lmao
@@benk3431 to make it look luxurious but at the same time keep the muscles of a hellcat
