- The plaintiff says she brought her car to the defendant for repairs after she was rear-ended, but she claims he pocketed most of the insurance money and fixed very little. She’s suing for the money she’s owed. The defendant says he did good work and claims the plaintiff waited months to complain.

I really like this defendant. Something about him ... he looks tough but seems to have clear integrity.
I feel like he's trustworthy. I'm a pretty good judge of character.
He doesn’t take any shit, he’s a straight shooter.

The plaintiff is a bold face liar and the defendant went above and beyond and apparently a very nice guy.
I'm just saddened that he didn't countersue for $1100. Sounds like Milian would have given it to him because she voided a contract and his paying that extra above and beyond was TO avoid court.

I agree in most part, however insurance companies total a lot of cars unnecessarily. Someone backed into my car and dented the front bumper, the insurance company decided to write it off. I negotiated a price and bought the car back for a small percentage. The damage was fixed with 10mins worth of work.
There's no telling how many folks this old lady has screwed over. I'm glad someone stopped her!

When I've had to get work done in the past, I've gotten some weird calls (e.g. "We decided your car needed X and Y additional work done, so we already did it, but now you're out out of pocket" - well, why didn't you ask me first?).
