  • The plaintiff says she brought her car to the defendant for repairs after she was rear-ended, but she claims he pocketed most of the insurance money and fixed very little. She’s suing for the money she’s owed. The defendant says he did good work and claims the plaintiff waited months to complain.

      I agree in most part, however insurance companies total a lot of cars unnecessarily. Someone backed into my car and dented the front bumper, the insurance company decided to write it off. I negotiated a price and bought the car back for a small percentage. The damage was fixed with 10mins worth of work.

    Gus is great at explaining things - I'd love to have someone like him doing my auto body work. When I've had to get work done in the past, I've gotten some weird calls (e.g. "We decided your car needed X and Y additional work done, so we already did it, but now you're out out of pocket" - well, why didn't you ask me first?).
