Then all the verbal opinion has some merit... the slim s is a really nice bike and holds it's own more then one would think, especially if you are short like my wife. She fits the slim s better and wouldn't recommend the m8 over her twin cam. Yep it will drag quicker but that really isn't a problem for most people that ride slims. They don't buy them to run fast in corners 🏍 that would be like taking a draft horse to the Kentucky derby 🤔😂😂 as for information you left out the hydraulic clutch and stock cruise control are in my opinion a + for the slim s. One thing is for sure both are fine bikes...

Didn't mention the oil cap is in a different place, you don't need a leather cover to keep from burning your leg on the 2018 and newer

I have a 2016 Slim S and, as far as I know there were no recalls and the problem I had with my bike was a headlight replacement. It's been great.
