SeucheAnemone56 yeah at the time of Battlefront 2’s cancellation I still had not acquired a PC, I had so much expectation for what would come after Scarif, only to be disappointed when it was finally finished. Perhaps when I have the opportunity I shall acquire a PC so I can play Battlefront 2, and have a great variety of mods to choose from, especially the Ahsoka ones since she’s my favorite clone wars character.
SeucheAnemone56 modding community is all that will keep battlefront 2 alive now, just wish Dice didn’t give up on it when their was plenty more on offer. But I hope I get a PC soon, the modding is getting better and better because of all the mesh imports.

One of sadder things is if things were different. Windu respecting Anakin, Anakin becoming master, he then feels more loyal to the people who reward him for his exemplary actions and respected. If Yoda could have made an exception or even read how Anakin truely felt and was more open with him, Anakin could have gotten the consolation he needed to ease his mind. The order could have been saved. The whole galaxy could have been saved. These are real lessons for real life.
Good points- Windu definitely could’ve been more sympathetic, but that promotion to master would’ve made Anakin more arrogant and increased his thirst for power. Today he craves rank of master, next he craves a leadership position on the council. Ultimately Anakin was the only one able to stop himself

A lot of people, I have heard, didn't like "Attack of the Clones" but it is my second favorite SW film after "Return of the Jedi." Anakin's downward spiral is brilliantly written and when this music plays at the end, when they wed on Naboo, it's just so sad because you know what's coming. I saw the original Star Wars (now IV) when it came out in the cinema when I was in high school. I joked when "Revenge of the Sith" came out that it was a movie whose ending I had known thirty years before it came out. But watching it happen, watching Anakin lose himself, and seeing what it does to Padme, really is heartbreaking. If a grown man can watch it and not be moved at all, I have to wonder if he's really a man - if he's really human at all. I think, even more than "Do, or do not, there is no try" Yoda's best line is from Attack of the Clones: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering."

Say what you will about GL and his creative vision - Without him, Star Wars simply would not exist. And for that, I commend him and all the people he managed to get to work with him. John Williams brought the music to life and thus gave the movies... Life. Well done everyone at Lucasfilm and Industrial Light and Magic, and well done to George Lucas. If only I could make a creative film like him... I don't think I can. But maybe one day. We'll see ;) For now though, I'll just go back to listening to the music. Thanks for the extension Dualme! :3

Palpitine was a master manipulator and he weaponized their love to break Anakin completely. But he couldn't forsee how Anakin's love for his son Luke,would drive him to not make the same tragic mistake that was his entire life, twice.
I would call it more an obsession than love, Anakin was obsessed with Padme and have mommy issues, and Padme wanted an excuse to leave her public life and have a family in Naboo, away from her duty, it was never about love, if they were really serious, either Padme or Anakin would leave their duties, but Anakin wanted more power, and Padme wanted to continue to do her duty, there were already red flags in Attack of the Clones when they have opposite ideologies, Padme was a firm believer in democracy, meanwhile Anakin believed in the debunked ideology of the philosopher king aka dictator.

Not going to lie watching this film when I was a kid scared me because of how much he loved her. I remember how I could feel his desperation to save her because he couldn't live without her, it was unsettling and seemed almost obsessive. Loving someone like that is beautiful but can also be terrifying because it doesn't allow you to think rationally. I believe those dreams were even sent by palpatine, or if anakin waited he would've been able to tell the truth to jedi council. it may result in his extermination but once he reveals the dreams and they can give him information on saving life. however i understand his desperation he just seemed afraid and at the time with how the council was neglecting him he had none to confide in and tell his problems so the outcome was tragic@@PhlilipeAlves

After realizing this I was shocked. Across the Stars is called as a 'Love Theme', but It sounds like some kind of funeral music. their relationship which lead them to death was covered with love, but it destroyed them from inside. John Williams made a wonderful masterpiece....
It's was such a sweet love story, and they only had maybe 2 or 3 short years of happiness before it all came crashing down. The music is sweet, sad and tragic. I thought Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen did a fantastic job of conveying all the emotions their characters story invoked. Anakin and Patme', we should all be that lucky to be so in love with someone and be loved by another like that, even if it is only for a short while.
As much I love the Prequels, I wouldn't say that Anakin and Padme were in love, Anakin had an obsession with her and a Oedipus complex with her, after his own mother die, that why he yells at Obi Wan that she wont be "taken" from him, as for Padme, she wanted a life more than public service, even that she could see the red flags even in their picnic when it was clear that both of them have different ideologies, but Padme ignored all the red flags in favour of wanting a family, even if was in secret, Anakin obsession with Padme was what doomed the galaxy, he didn't even care about the ideals and ideology of his own wife, he wanted to posses her, and want to possess a great power, mostly because Palpatine feed his ego.
The first time when I heard this song was when I was little and it was just some background music from a star wars game. Now it is a memory of a beautiful youth and amazing movie.
I think the 6th starwars should have emphasized more on the fact that Sidious's promises to Anakin were empty promises and that all the sacrifices Anakin made, (or how far he was willing to go), to save Padme were all in vain, and the very thing he fought to save, was forever taken from Him. When Vader was contemplating throwing Sidious down the shaft, I like to think he was thinking of all of this, how the dark side and all that power never gave him the thing he desired the most, that the dark side was all a lie and was never a means to save Padme. He let himself believe this lie for so long, until he saw his own son being destroyed by sidious the same man who said he could help save his wife from dying, was killing his son in front of his eyes openly. At the moment, Vader finally saw saw the truth he was hiding from all those years.
just as padme was a reason for anakin to go to the dark side. The love he had for her brought him back and its his son who helped him realize that. anakin/vader probably the most interesting character ever written.
Listening to this makes me imagine what Anakin's life would be like if he never turned to the dark side. Still, Padme would have been lost, but he could actually meet Luke and Leia. Brings tears to my eyes imagining it.
She would had probably died in childbirth, but no one knows actually. He did it all for her. He love her so much, way too much I think. But his son saved him from the dark side, because all in all he always had good in him, like Padmé said to Obi-Wan when dying.

This is the only version that really brings out the flute/piccolo or whatever it is when the music starts to swing down at 1:23 and it’s effing gorgeous. This song gives me goosebumps if it’s been more than a minute since I listened to it. One of my all time favorites.

@@PhlilipeAlves I love the Prequels, as someone that watched the Originals first but not think of them much as have as much deep as the Prequels, but I wouldn't call Anakin and Padme a "love story", there was a red flag when they first speak about their ideology, Anakin basically believes in the philosopher King, a dictator, meanwhile Padme is a hardcore believer in democracy, apart that Anakin is obsessive specially with his mother and Padme, aggressive, power hungry, lead more by his emotions than his intelligence, Padme ignored all the red flags, because she didn't care, she wanted a family outside of duty, and Anakin wanted a replacement for his mother, it wasn't real love, Anakin had fear of physically loser even if his children could be saved, even in the clone wars, Anakin was jealous of anyone that was close to Padme in the past, even if she wasn't interested, and always agree with the Chancellor in her face.
Not going to lie watching this film when I was a kid scared me because of how much he loved her. I remember how I could feel his desperation to save her because he couldn't live without her, it was unsettling and seemed almost obsessive. Loving someone like that is beautiful but can also be terrifying because it doesn't allow you to think rationally. I believe those dreams were even sent by palpatine, or if anakin waited he would've been able to tell the truth to jedi council. it may result in his extermination but once he reveals the dreams and they can give him information on saving life. however i understand his desperation he just seemed afraid and at the time with how the council was neglecting him he had none to confide in and tell his problems so the outcome was tragic@@PhlilipeAlves

It's was such a sweet love story, and they only had maybe 2 or 3 short years of happiness before it all came crashing down. The music is sweet, sad and tragic. I thought Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen did a fantastic job of conveying all the emotions their characters story invoked. Anakin and Patme', we should all be that lucky to be so in love with someone and be loved by another like that, even if it is only for a short while.
This is why the prequels are the best trilogy

As much I love the Prequels, I wouldn't say that Anakin and Padme were in love, Anakin had an obsession with her and a Oedipus complex with her, after his own mother die, that why he yells at Obi Wan that she wont be "taken" from him, as for Padme, she wanted a life more than public service, even that she could see the red flags even in their picnic when it was clear that both of them have different ideologies, but Padme ignored all the red flags in favour of wanting a family, even if was in secret, Anakin obsession with Padme was what doomed the galaxy, he didn't even care about the ideals and ideology of his own wife, he wanted to posses her, and want to possess a great power, mostly because Palpatine feed his ego.
The first time when I heard this song was when I was little and it was just some background music from a star wars game. Now it is a memory of a beautiful youth and amazing movie.

I think the 6th starwars should have emphasized more on the fact that Sidious's promises to Anakin were empty promises and that all the sacrifices Anakin made, (or how far he was willing to go), to save Padme were all in vain, and the very thing he fought to save, was forever taken from Him.
When Vader was contemplating throwing Sidious down the shaft, I like to think he was thinking of all of this, how the dark side and all that power never gave him the thing he desired the most, that the dark side was all a lie and was never a means to save Padme. He let himself believe this lie for so long, until he saw his own son being destroyed by sidious the same man who said he could help save his wife from dying, was killing his son in front of his eyes openly.
At the moment, Vader finally saw saw the truth he was hiding from all those years.
just as padme was a reason for anakin to go to the dark side. The love he had for her brought him back and its his son who helped him realize that. anakin/vader probably the most interesting character ever written.

Listening to this makes me imagine what Anakin's life would be like if he never turned to the dark side. Still, Padme would have been lost, but he could actually meet Luke and Leia. Brings tears to my eyes imagining it.
She would had probably died in childbirth, but no one knows actually. He did it all for her. He love her so much, way too much I think.
But his son saved him from the dark side, because all in all he always had good in him, like Padmé said to Obi-Wan when dying.

This is the only version that really brings out the flute/piccolo or whatever it is when the music starts to swing down at 1:23 and it’s effing gorgeous. This song gives me goosebumps if it’s been more than a minute since I listened to it. One of my all time favorites.
