    One of my relatives thought he was going to make over $60k straight out of college with a business degree. He was unemployed for almost a whole year. He finally found a seasonal assistant manager job working for the hot dog vendor at a professional baseball stadium.

    Your pay rate estimates are at least double compared to real life wages for these trades with out being company owner and if there is construction work.

      I got accepted into a Technical Highschool for welding, what are your opinions on the job?

    • @benjaminmasters5375
      @benjaminmasters5375 Před 6 lety +2

      Grace Yu personally i love it, depending on the job it can get boring at times (but what job doesnt get bkring at some point) but i make the most of it, i work in a factory where i build all the welded parts for industrial stump grinders and logging machinery, the machinsts cut and bend the metal for me, i do all my own welding and grinding, i really enjoy my work, i work part time through my technical high school, i go to school for english and science and take off the rest of the day by working at the factory, and since they are happy with me im guaranteed a good paying job the day i graduate, i even get raises as part time so i have a massive head start on all my regular high school buddies, im pretty well set for life financially so far, and if better opportunities arise ill take them

      Refrigeration pays better and the work is steadier. If you’re not afraid of hard work, HVACR is a good field. Commercial pays very well but most commercial HVAC companies won’t hire you without 5 years commercial experience and you can’t get the experience unless you work for a commercial HVAC company.

    This is great, thanks for sharing! Everyone always forgets about appliance repair, there is a huge demand across the country, and most servicers that are worth working for pay very well. One of our biggest hurdles is that bls.gov hasn't updated our industry's listing in many years and the numbers just aren't correct. Keep up the good work, skilled trades are always going to be in demand :) appliance.academy
