    This is a new twist on a pallet sign project. I make a pallet sign from reclaimed wood, add a white wash, sand it down to make it look shabby chic, show you an awesome technique for stenciling, and use forks to make creative hooks. I made this sign to hang coffee mugs, but in the video I also explain how a simple modification can turn this in to a pallet project that you can hang wine glasses from. Thanks for watching and subscribing!

    What is the program you use to write the sayings?

      Great question. This will show my age, but I use an old program called Microsoft Photodraw. Its probably 25 years old. But even Paint on your laptop will work. Ill be putting out a video soon to show the entire process.

    I wasn't sure by watching this video, how exactly that you attached the forks onto the pallet to keep them secure on there? Was there any glue involved?

    • @OurHouseChannel
      @OurHouseChannel  Před 7 lety +1

      +JulieAnn Griffin Great question! Its really going to depend on how your sign is built. In this case, the boards were tight enough together that the forks wedged in the crack really snug. But, if yours doesn't work out that way, you could add a glue or even try letting enough of the fork stick out the back of the sign to put a second bend.

    Let's do a project here where we burn the old deck off the house...or just the whole damn house.

    How did you attach the forks?

    • @OurHouseChannel
      @OurHouseChannel  Před 6 lety

      I put the tines between the boards and used construction adhesive.
