- Alex moved between 15 foster homes over 11 years. He had lost hope in ever finding a forever family until Jenny and Stephen stepped forward. With the support of Boys & Girls Aid, Alex now has an amazing bond with his adoptive parents.

What a lovely boy, bless him. He's bouncing around unselfconsciously like a younger child. It's as if he's getting a loving childhood back. I hope he knows nothing but happiness and love for the rest of his life.
My thoughts exactly :)
He’s 13, he is young
He certainly looks happy and comfortable. But kids act like that throughout their teens.
Amen 🙏
How wonderful to see a couple who were willing to adopt a teen, rather than a cuddly little baby. I'm so happy for them all!!
I agree
And Alex is a terrific boy.
Besides no dirty nappies, baby crying in the night! Hes "ready made!"
I can feel LoVe
Very smart people. Mature to make best choice for everyone. Instead of following wish, they chose child that mached their age better. And nothing happens accidently- their meeting was their destiny!
Kids still need to be adopted at 17 because you still need a family and direction in your early 20s. You will need grandparents when you have kids.
You will want granparents when you have kids. But you don't need them.
@@purselmer5931 actually you need them
@@michaelacheampong2869 I'm speaking literally. I never had any grandparents and I'm still alive. Sure wish any of my parents' parents cared about us, but it just didn't happen. Now my children only had one grandparent who everycared about my kids and he died a while ago. All of my kids are still alive.
@@purselmer5931 I get you
I was raised on a farm half mile from a foster home. I saw friends come and go, way too quickly. Everyone I made friends with there LOVED our farm. Cows, horses, chickens, homing pigeons and rabbits. I thoroughly believe ANIMALS can heal wounds that humans cannot! Great job mom and dad
I'm so happy that Alex's story defied the typical outcome for a teen in foster care. It gives me a warm feeling seeing how much love is there.
He is so appreciative you can just see it in his face. Even more than most young kids are
Great parents and Alex looks like a sweet kid. Happy for all of them!
Thank you Lord for those willing to adopt.
Amen!
OMG Mom said it right in the beginning of this video. He just belonged and fit right in with them. He even looks like them! Seriously he is SO loved we can all see it in him how much he is soaking up all that love he was missing for years before meeting his forever family. From one redhead to another.... You are Awesome Alex!!
There’s a child who needed a mom and dad, and a momma and dad who needed this child❤️ Love....
You said it mom and dad need a child that is so true that kid even though he’s older looks like a cuddly lovable kid and I bet he gives him so much in return they never had
@@joeglennaz and whatever challenges may come will be completely insignificant to them because, while not a child of their bodies, he’s a child of their souls. I can attest, I’m blessed to be adoptive mamma myself 💕😊
Not flesh of my flesh
Nor bone of my bone,
But still miraculously my own.
Never forget for a single minute,
You didn’t grow under my heart
But in it.

@@emmanueldidier321 That’s beautiful. Thank you for posting it. 💕
So true!
He looks like them ... Blessed the parents
We have adopted four older children from foster care at various times in our lives. All were severely traumatized! Trust us such a huge issue. Yes they were difficult during their initial placement and during some of those teenage years. They are ages 22-40 now and we are so thankful for our amazing loving children! They have contributed greatly to our very happy life. They were adopted at ages 8, 13, 15, and 16 none were biologically related now they are siblings with our other four children. Life is very full and fun
Beautiful kid and wonderful parents.
Love this child
I love this family. He was placed with such beautiful parents and living on a farm with animals will be so therapeutic for him. God bless this family!
Nothing beats a happy ending. They all seem made for each other.
So sad when kids thrown into foster care many age out and never find permanent home. So happy these parents chose Alex they look like good match. Wish them long life and happiness.
The reason why the kids are placed into foster care is because of abuse and/or neglect.
What a great kid. So happy for him...and for his parents. A blessing all the way around.💗
Seeing him bounce around like that genuinely lets you know he is happy and loved and full of life. You could put the video on mute from beginning to end, not know anything about whats going on but still be able to look and see and think "That's one happy boy. Must be a very loving family." Not a single word is needed either.
Can I write crazy but wonderful - he looks just like his DAD!!!
This is so beautiful. What a lovely couple. I can't even imagine the comfort that young man feels just knowing that it's ok now...he has something solid.
Congratulations Alex! You deserve to be happy buddy. So nice to see your smiling face!
Alex looks like he fits seamlessly into this family. What a beautiful family.
He's adorable.
Love that smile. I hope that they have a Wonderful life together. Beautiful Family.
This brought tears of joy. Would love to hear a follow up and find out how he’s doing after 3 years.
August 2022. Yes, please.
What an awesome kid and to have awesome parents at last. He is cherished by those parents.
How neat!!! What a cute guy. Everyone lucked out.
What wonderful people to look outside of themselves and see needs of others, especially loving a child who desperately needs it. That is why I feel awful for kids timing out of the foster system at 18. Most kids (95%) cannot provide for themselves or know exactly how the world works. Bless these people!
I wonder how hes doing nowadays. Hope hes doing well with his beautiful family.
What a great kid! Wishing blessings and happiness on Alex and he adoptive parents.
You can't change the world, but.......you changed the world for a boy named Alex.
What a sweet story. I'm so happy for all of them.
Such a sweet story. You can tell he is crazy about them especially having a Dad since he is a teenager. He is full of energy and the parents are very calming. God Bless them every one.
Makes me cry. Sooo glad they found each other. He seems content and happy. You can tell they really love each other. My heart goes out to all three of you, and the puppy too.
What a lovely boy!❤️He deserves the best.
Congrats - it looks like a match made in heaven!!! So much love!!!
Wow, this couple is so amazing. It is super scary to take on an older child with 15 years of experiences you don't know about. I am so happy for this boy, he seems like a great kid.
As an older child being adopted he understands he was wanted and loved and chosen
What a great boy! Thank God for him finally getting loving parents. Praise God
I wish his happiness to
every child out there
but even more so to all
the children in foster care
Every child deserves to know they r loved and wanted. I hope more children find what Alex did.
Beautiful family! He really made your family full! He sounds like a blessing!
So beautiful! Thank you Lord for these loving parents and for a neat kid and that you brought them all together.
Those two are.obviously the perfect family for Alex. God bless you all

Wow beautiful parents and a handsome son.
Ich freue mich für Alex und natürlich auch für die Eltern. Gott schütze euch
My German is not perfect but this basically says: "I'm happy for Alex and naturally also the parents. God bless them."
It's never too late to have a Mum and Dad.
He looks like their love created him because he looks like their son! I pray they have the best, "the best rest of their life story!" ❤
Of anything in the world one person can do, helping to guide and shape the life of a child? So that child can grow up loved, secure and happy? Like, how cool s THAT?
Heart-wrenching and heart-warming. I’m so happy for this family.
This makes me so happy..God bless you all!
Exception people. The young man has a new start in life. I hope he is doing well still. You can tell he really loves his parents.
I hope Alex always happy ❄️♥️
He is just an awesome kid
So are his parents

It’s a great thing when you feel like being a part, included, found. Love to see more on this thru the years
These people are real life angles!! 🙏. Thank you for adopting him!
I am super happy for him and yet I am crying 😢
Lucky couple!! He seems like a wonderful child!
You can see how happy Alex is and how much he is loved!
What a beautiful boy ..
My heart is crying. I'm very happy for him and his parents.
I'm crying
Can't stop crying while watching this... such a sweeeeeet boy & thx for giving him what a boy duly deserved, love, care & acceptance, a home to go home to!
Best Mum and Dad in the WORLD ALL THE BEST
Amazing story God bless all of you
bless you and your husband and especially Alex! The greatest gift God bestows on us is compassion and I love God and you guys for giving that to Alex!
Aw, I have a lump in my eye, and a tear in my throat. 😄 Wonderful people, to adopt a teenager. I am so happy for him. I wish him happinesses, and many blessings, for the rest of his life. May you achieve lots of things, on your wish list. 🤗
He really looks like he was made by this couple ❤
Myself and hubby are retired now and looking forward to fostering this year 🤞
Alex is very mature. Wish him the very best in his future.
Man, he really does look so much like his adoptive parents, what an incredible story and resilient kid. As someone who was adopted (internationally) back in 2010, I can gratefully say that I don't know where I'd be today without my amazing loving adoptive parents. May they always be blessed ❤
Obviously, there are some high-value picks in the later rounds of the draft...
Such a lovely last scene -- a beautiful family!
Awesome story. Thank the Lord for making a way. He had such a life of pain and glad to see he got blessed with a wonderful outcome. The Lord brought good out of something that was previously so sad.
Sweet redhead kid, idyllic farm: strong Anne of Green Gables vibes in this lovely story.
Love this family and that they were able to find each other!!
Beautiful family ,magnificent parents God Bless this family. 🙏
Oh my...I'm crying! I would adopt if I could start all over again! God bless this family!!! Xo
so so happy for Alex! 🥰
His energy is so spontaneously gravitating! If there were marks given for most lovable kids, he would be up there. The way he gave cheek kisses to both his parents in the end!!
I should also mention here that it is not easy to have a stranger home. Yes its easier to have kids adapt to new circumstances, but teen kids cannot supress their true nature in for long, so soon there will be some thing or the other that would come up that needs to be deftly dealt with. We've had lots of youngsters stay as paying and non paying guests in our house for months and even years. It takes a lot from both sides. And that is where the parents role is equally important.
Unless parents like the ones here are not empathetic by nature, then its even more difficult to tolerate in the long run. Its not enough to have a desire to have someone at home. You should be an empathetic person in general. Like how his dad voice broke when he said I am Alex dad; and his mom cracked up when she talked about the many kids out there who needs someone to love them! We cannot love all of them, we can only hope that as many as possible can get the right people to take care of them. It would be good thus that adopting parents dont overcrowd the house, as it will be a great emotional strain, given the demands.
The fact that he went to 15 foster homes in 11 years to finally feel one with one of them, means that biological connection is only of a limited value. Soul vibes need to beat in the same wavelength for two individuals to be able to have a smooth relationship!
How wonderful ❤️ couple like you.. Thanks you so much
There will never be enough love for a child - regardless it's a baby or a teen 💙 - this parents are doing amazing!
Sending only best wishes from Germany!
Beautiful ...
