K24 DCT 240SX GRIDLIFE Build - HUGE Update!

In this video we provide a HUGE update on David's K24 & DCT swapped Nissan 240SX. This is a GRIDLIFE Steet Mod build and is going to be quite the ripper! David is utilizing parts from TF Works, KPowered Industries, HAWK, Konig, Borg Warner, Mishimoto, Performance Electronics.

Thanks for sharing this. Hell of a lot of good info for someone looking to K swap these cars. The SR is getting more and more expensive and harder to find so the K is a great alternative considering how much aftermarket support there is as well as the fact that the K series is designed pretty well right out of the box. Definitely a nice looking build man! Keep up the good work!!👍🏻😉

Curious on the clearance needed for the DCT trans in the tunnel. were you able to get it in there without sacrificing driveline angle? Im planning this or stock dog box on my RB R33, I don't mind panel beating, but don't want it sitting at a rude angle.

Going from a KA24 to a K24. Trading an extremely reliable low end torque truck engine for a slightly less reliable high end fwd compact engine. Different definitely, better is up to each person.

I'm thinking about building a mini corvette. I've had a C5 vette I put a fat cam in and the consumables were just too much. SO I'm thinking about building a 944 (I like the dynamics of the vette and the 944 is the only other thing I can think of with the trans in the back engine in front). Instead of LS swapping it or doing what you're doing, I'm thinking about K swapping it and keeping it NA and modest in the power department (high 200hp range at the crank preferably). Then I'd focus on just making it as light of a track car as possible. Would love you input! How light do you think I could get a 944? Is this dumb??? ->should I just buy a S2000 again lol?
