I have an aquarium I got totally gunked up and nasty from an old man, the filter worked fine j til recently.
I thought I mightve jammed the cable and broken something, i couldnt figure out what was wrong, but it suddenly worked again so I left it.
Today, same thing happened again, I unplugged it and moved it a bit, and it stopped working, no matter what I did, nothing.
So I google and stumbled upon your video, I tried it out and IT WORKED!
The propeller was jammed up by some gunk, cleaned it and now it fine, THANK YOU so much!!
I usually never comment on tutorials etc, but yours was short, clear and straight to the point, this deffinitly deserves some recognition and appreciation! ❤️

Wow this actually worked. Thank you very much! I had the filter that came with the Top Fin 3.5 gallon tank and it did not work when plugged in out of the box. I pulled the housing off to see the part you described and replaced it and plugged it in and it now works as it should. Amazing thank you for the helpful video. I gave a thumbs up and subscribed.

After 6 videos, yours brought 1 tiny detail more and that simple detail was the answer to my problem. The little fan (propeller) comes out and should spin when it's in its little hole. Mine was stuck, completely and when you said you could feel yours is a little gunked up, I knew i should give mine a little force spin. I could feel it was jammed with sand! 😂 I could feel the grinding. The other guys just showed the propeller and said to clean it. I'm so happy now! And I fixed it myself...with your help! 😆 Thank you so much!

Frustrated for 2 hours trying to fix this and should have just looked you up. It worked!!!
I needed help; came across this video and it saved my day! The guidance was clear enough to point out where to find my issue. I have a small TetraCare tank, after a water change the filter would not start. Since my filter is small there is not a hidden compartment to clean. I found that my issue was with the filter cartridge, the cartridge had residue on it that needed to be cleaned. This was helpful, thanks a bunch!!

I was actually looking up how to use new filter I had bought as different det up to old 1, this video came up, happened to watch it and tried it, and hey presto old fliter working again, might keep the new 1 as back up, but thanks none the less ❤❤

I just got a fish tank for Christmas. While setting everything up my filter fell into the sand & stopped working...I yelled... I cried...This saved me from having to buy another one when I didn't know what I did wrong. Thank you! Thank you!
I didn't think that would work out. But now it works!!!! Thank you so much. Cause those are the least favorite think to spend money on.... I have it my paludarium, that would probably make me regret building paludarium instead of terrarium
