As I'm working on restoring my 1985 Porsche 924 and my workshop is pretty small, I needed to put the shell on wheels. As I need to move it and even take it out so I can work on something else. Eventualy every tool and workbench will be on wheels too. I got a lot of pine beams that are leftover from my house construction so I decided to use that. I even had the screws for it. Only thing I had to buy were wheels.

nice idea, i might need to do somethign similar. 🙂 what points on the body did you use as your load bearing points? seems like its a point of much disagreement in the 924 world!

Thank you. Where rear trailing arms mount to the body, under the sill, in the back and chassis rails in the front.

What are the basic dimensions for length and width? Also, what casters did you use?

Its 112x138 in centimeters. Casters are just some cheap ones I bought locally.

@@RestorationApprentice Danke. I'm currently trying to bring a '77 924 Martini back to life. You're an excellent mechanic and your vids have been a big help and an inspiration. I look forward to more.
