Brazil makes superstars
Love that photo showing him painting a wall as a kid and then posing next to it with a painting of him years later.
Man I've been to the favelas in Brazil and for anyone to come out of that in one piece and be as successful as some of these Brazilian footballers is truly inspirational. The ones that grew up here saying they came from rough neighbourhoods have no idea
People think it’s cool to act like gangsters, but if they actually lived in a place like city of god they would hate and fear the gangster way of life.
Jason Nicolini City of God has been pacified for 9 years
Jonathan Wright That’s good news :)
@@walarootus but it doesn't matter if they take down one "king" of the favela if someone else is going to take his place in a neighbor favela, unfortunately that's how it works in Brazil (and they say that its paciefied but we know that this is not 100% true)
@@walarootus not really bro 😂
He is a real inspiration!
Ahahah exactly at 33 likes
Good to see the Guy from UP has found himself a new career as a Scout
Very humble young man
Boa Gabriel Jesus Palmeiras nunca esquecerá de vc, BRASIL
Gabriel Jesus é monstro! #AlôMãe
So excited to see him at at Arsenal this season (22/23)
I think his name is pronounced Jay-Zeus, because he's Brazilian, not Spanish
Mendylixious no jésous
You are almost right. In Brazil we proununce "Jezus". But it's not a problem.
100% Jesus
Why does Gabriel's face look like a comic character especially when he smiles? 😂
love this channel
Now I understand why he started the matches in the world cup over Firmino. He just didn't corresponded the expectations.
favela fabulous
Future star in the making 🙌
Idol
I love when these videos of my fellow countrymen pop up, because these stories pretty much consist of 90% of Brasilian players. Well, probably 90% of Latino players came from similar if not same path; there are few exceptions.
Great video! 🔥
My man Fred topen viaten, great video from Copa90 👏👌👍
Realist line ever "unfortunately for brazil a superstar is born everyday"
I’m the best.
Your everywhere
Gabriel Jesus you're a tap in merchant.
finesse merchant you’re a penalty merchant.
Most of these Brazilians either become a bjj wizard or footballer
What I want to know is the details. Nice to know the story of where they came from, but apart from blindly accepting natural talent: What did he love practicing by himself and during games as a kid; did he play with older kids and adults regularly; what are his most notable attributes as a player? It's like we are meant to infer all these things and simply accept, look he's just better than everybody else. It's a luck and timing thing, not just performance and numbers!
It’s Jesus not Hesus. He’s not Spanish mate.
@Mad Man 1 jesus navas?
Aa9skills says jesus he portoguess
Jesus pronounced (jay-zeus)
Ausar nope, pronounced zyay-sus
Jonathan Wright it’s Jesus but pronounced Hesus
Dear Copa90 Do you know who you should do "The Story Of" .... Victor Moses, check out his story, its that of many African English players, but his is very emotional. Don't want to give the story away but check it out if you don't know already because he is so unassuming that the juxtaposition would make for a good documentary.
Just watched a video on him because of this comment. Unbelievable story bro... just wow
Funny to see Arthur at the end :)
isn't barcelona's player arthur, is another one
Nice vid but what about derbydays milano tonight?
This Palmeiras kits are fire though!
1:43 Carter do Essediafoilouco 💙
As soon as he figures out the offside rule he'll be a demon
I thought he came from the streets I did not know he played for palmeiras . I thought they found him playing in the street and he was so good that man city gave a deal . Oh 😥 my ignorance nonetheless I love 🇧🇷 .
first.now love me
You the man! Should open a patreon account or something
Finally making a big move to a big club Arsenal. Dreams do come true.
Superstar my arse 😂 😂 😭 😭
Lol y'all remember that Gabriel Barbosa guy? What happened to him? I remember these two was suppose to be Brazil's next stars...
he's back at Santos.
team and league topscorer and one of the most loved by team supporters. I think finally he got a life. What will be of him is a mistery. He was on loan from Internazionale
He's the idol of 40 million people now
Ronaldinho v2
Welcome to FC Barcelona
That nose is imperious. Wow!
Brasil : Common Dreams of People -footballer
In my country : Engineer, Doctor, Pilot etc.
You know Which Country I'm talking bout.! 😂

What people don’t understand is that these kids play all day that because their parents are not home.
brasil porra
Fermino should have the start over Jesus for the Brazilian National team
Hope he ends up in AC Milan
El_Piter33 Milan has already got Lucas Paquetá
@@vascoguedes3226 I heard they're gonna sell Paqueta

Superstar? Bench warmer but good story
*from the favelas
Timsy is a don
He is not a superstar.A star, yes.Superstar, not really.
If this isn't all the evidence the USA needs that you have to make soccer:
affordable (so that we get a wider net of our country's athletes from all demographics and socioeconomic backgrounds, and so it becomes less and less of an elitist sport; in terms of expense and perception),
accessible ( futsal courts, not just fields, in the hoods/barrios/ trailer parks, as well as/not only in proximity to affluent neighborhoods, of major and minor cities alike; ex. ATL and Raleigh, NC or LA and Bremerton, WA),
and quality training available (continuing to developed and expand Academy Systems, putting qualified coaches to work and training up those who have high aspirations, with a common NATIONAL goal in mind, in all organizations - not just club/select/travel organizations), I don't know what is.
I have more detailed thoughts, but nobody likes reading novels in the comments section.
I’m from America and I agree with your points. America is missing every essential key point to grow its football to the next level. I started a petition a week ago to make a change. Here it is if you would like to read it and sign it. It would really help. www.change.org/p/united-states-soccer-federation-us-mens-football-changes
Good guy but needs to get better on crosses
he is not a winger
he should leave city imo
He's been shite recently
@@ManchesterBlue1894 nah man. hes great. not the level of aguero yet but great. showed his qualitys against real

He's a tapin merchant.

Not. Hesus it. Is. Jusus
He ain’t all that 🤷🏿♂️
Rio accent > São Paulo accent
Bri10 Nahhh
WAY better than that lesbian firmino
Super star? lmao
He was part of the great centurian team, the best PL history, under the best manager in the world, leading brazils front line, how can you not be a super star after that?
Rhys Rozanski and Wes Brown was a part of the greatest premier league side of all time. He a superstar?
Rhys Rozanski he’s also been god awful for Brazil with their fans wanting him dropped for Firmino sooooo
Hes sooo overrated hes actually the definition of a tapin merchant
@@rhyswoodbridge3914 he's a better Street painter than footballer
look at the nose on that guy
Probably a medical condition.
Nobody fucks with the Jesus
Good player but sorry Firmino is better.
Flame when Jesus reaches Firminos age he will be 20 times better than Firmino
*From favela to flop
The feck you talking about
Eashan Saju CM and more he’s a flop like Robinho
Willian Borges da Silva how?
He's 10 times the player you will ever be.....
@@em_99 hes only 21
Gabriel Jesus, a superstar? You must be kidding..🤨
I like his skill but that constant pout face his genetics cursed him with on the pitch is the farthest thing from endearing.
he's super overrated... too small, too weak... needs an easy league
Yeah scoring agianst Madrid at the Bernabeau is so easy , lmao Delusional shmuck
Most useless player for Brazil this World Cup. Disappointed an entire nation and somehow started over Firmino repeatedly.
Jonathan Wright he wasn’t good but Willian was more useless
Firmino would have been useless because he would just get in the way of coutinho and neymar who like to operate that space. Richarlison would have been better
Matt Moore yet when he came on he scored against Mexico... Richarlison was in pretty bad form leading up to the World Cup he wouldn’t have been chosen.
@@mattmoore804 I respectfully disagree. Firmino and Coutinho were like brothers at Liverpool that bond may have carried over and made a significant difference. And as a false nine, Firmino is versatile enough to make adjustments. Be that as it may, I feel like many commenters must have watched a different world cup than me. Neymar's narcissism and refusal to let go of the ball threw everyone else's game off. Every time he got the ball he was trying to recreate THE Maradonna goal, which makes it hard to actually evaluate players like Jesus, who rely on pure team play. Plus, Neymar's lack of dignity and respect for the game was clear to see. "Referee, VAR!" I love Brazil but I didn't want them to win like that. Hopefully he grows up soon, for the good of his club, country and legacy. ✌
