    could you possibly do a video on metering for double exposures? do you meter 1 stop under for each or meter as usual for both?

    I have a Hasselblad 2000FC/M and after I pressed the double exposure button and rewinded, then shot, the camera locked the mirror up and I couldn’t shoot anymore. Only if I press the double exposure and rewind, the mirror starts to release. But if I shoot, the same problem repeats.
    Any chance you may know the answer?
    Thank you!

    Hi, thanks for your video!
    Fot the second image, the exposure needs to be longer? I mean since the film was already exposed to light, maybe it’s less sensible...
    Thanks and kind regards.

      @NicosPhotographyShow  Před 6 lety

      From what I have been told you need to expose 2/3 the first and 2/3 the second, so take 1/3 of exposure away. . Film doesnt become less sensitive unless its a long exposure and then you have reciprocity failure.

    is there a way to wind the film back on the hassy?

    • @NicosPhotographyShow
      @NicosPhotographyShow  Před 7 lety +1

      +Valentino Photography I dont understand the question. In 120 you can only wind one way as the film is only tapped to the backing paper at the beginning. If you mess up you need to open in a darkroom and rewind slowly.

      I have 2 pics on the rolll and I would like to move the film to another camera :)

    • @NicosPhotographyShow
      @NicosPhotographyShow  Před 7 lety

      +Valentino Photography Yup, pretty "hard" to do. You need to rewind the film out of the camera (in the dark) load onto new camera and shoot past the two frames with a lid on.

    • @ValentinoLuggen
      @ValentinoLuggen Před 7 lety

      ok got it :) I have to wait until it's dark then.

  • @skarsteen
    @skarsteen Před 6 lety +1

    what about the exposure? some people say that if you shoot 400 you should take it down to 200, as well as underexposing it by one stop as you will be shooting it twice. I don't get the math but has anyone experimentet?

    • @NicosPhotographyShow
      @NicosPhotographyShow  Před 6 lety

      +skarsteen you got 1/2 right. If you load 100 ISO expose as 50 so you give it 1/2 the light. So divide the ISO by the number of exposures you will take. Start there and experiment.
