Went to Grimsby once in the 80's. A van pulled up and the driver asked me where a certain pub was. I said "sorry mate, I'm not from round here". He then screamed at his missus "pass me the fucking hammer!", before jumping out and chasing me down the road.

I lived in Grimsby for 3 years and honestly i fucking hated it, place was an absolute dump funny thing about this film is it was filmed in tilsbury.

Went to Grimsby working away once, pulled up in the van and unloaded the tools, a lad about 12 rocked up and said "for a fiver I'll watch your van" one of the lads I was with chirped up with "we got a dog I'm the van to keep it safe mate"

@@AndrewTateOfficial I think you miss the point correct me if I in fact am missing the point, I meant a group of lads doing this, even with the height of the van it's still achievable, if they don't manage to set it on fire they sure as hell will smash it up, also they wait for you to leave or get bored of talking and be out of earshot before they start, it used to be a really popular form of making money in the late 80's and early 90's with certain communities known for loving scrap metal.
