- Guys this is a long video...so sit back and enjoy the info on Joe Henners Advanced Timing Key on my Kayo K6-R 250....I go deep on what this thing does for your engine performance and why it does it...while trying to show it on track at NCMP motocross park in central NC during late March of 2022.
As we come into riding season I wanted to tell you Guys about an easy mod to gain a little horsepower, increase revs, increase compression, burn fuel better and generally make your bike a little better. The mod I speak of is an advanced timing key from Joe Henner at Henner Motorsports. Dollar for dollar this is one of the best mods you can make for your bike, For those who don't know , Joe is one of the only Guys doing any mods for these CHYNA Bikes and good thing is he is very good at his work.

Wished i knew what your responce was but i appreciate you talking back but if u find time could u say it again on the gearing ratios an also was wondering if it has had any mapping done? But love the content keep it coming. Id like to come ride at this track what county in NC is this place? I believe you told me you lived in Raleigh or near it which is about 3½ to 4 hrs from me im closer to Reeds track but ive only been down there 1 time.
@@josephlay288 gearing us 13/51. The tranny is a 6 speed...the track in video is NCMP in Henderson NC...No mapping...did timing advance with key on flywheel
@@Dirt_Bike_Dave thanks man cant really beat that gear ratio for MX and Woods. It being a 6 speed prob tall 1st with that ratio ⚙. Thanks again deff gonna have to come try that track out. Bikes running alot better with that little bit of timing added seems to be reliable too.
Did you see how the guy on the two stroke cleared the step down, that's what you got to do, because you keep coming up short on the jumps, and all you need is just a little more speed and you'll have it. 👍

Great description of how the key works. Excellent job!
You need to get more speed through the step-ups and tabletops to clear them, because it slows you down when you come up short like that.

Wouldn't the CDI control the mapping of the ignition? Isn't that where the adjustments are made? I have a CDI that is adjustable.

I was wondering if you know if there is an skid plate out there that fits on the bike?

You know ..I don't ..but some people have made some work....a guy got a GPX one and modified it to fit.....🤷♂️
Them jump lips and Platform are good landings spot but slow u down...just a time saver if u avoid them...full send and you be the next legend of Mr hold my beer watch this. .... Getting er done ✅ 👍
