  • Sorry in advance for the production value of this video....some of my files got corrupted, but I wanted to get this to you ASAP.
    As we come into riding season I wanted to tell you Guys about an easy mod to gain a little horsepower, increase revs, increase compression, burn fuel better and generally make your bike a little better. The mod I speak of is an advanced timing key from Joe Henner at Henner Motorsports. Dollar for dollar this is one of the best mods you can make for your bike, For those who don't know , Joe is one of the only Guys doing any mods for these CHYNA Bikes and good thing is he is very good at his work.
    In this video I show how to install the key and some of the tools needed to do the job. I did not have a strap wrench but one is recommended and also a M28 x 1 flywheel puller as well as an impact or air gun and general tools like sockets, screw drivers, allen keys etc.
    My channel for the near future will be all about Dirt Bikes and specifically the Kayo K6-R 250 that I bought in September 2021. I will be making Videos about :

    I just watched Joe Henner's video on the installation of his advanced timing key. He said, "Once you put the fly wheel back and, before tightening the nut, you'll notice play on the flywheel form clockwise to counterclockwise. Hold it counterclockwise and then tighten the nut. If you don't, you are NOT advancing the timing." That means I have to take mine apart again 😭

    Is this any good for trail riding as far as low end power, or is it more tuned for mid to high end power for mx tracks ? thanks

    why not drain the oil 1st, then you could do the operation on the bike standing up.

    • @Dirt_Bike_Dave
      @Dirt_Bike_Dave  Před 2 lety +1

      Why waste the oil...hurts nothing to have your bike on its side.

    • @davidmorgas8759
      @davidmorgas8759 Před 2 lety +1

      I just did mine and I did drain the oil it helps, note I waited for my 20hr service. you would have to lay the bike down for a while if not, and less chance of shit falling into the case, I also used my impact on the 17mm nut to remove it way easier, also the dawl pins stay in place. I also wedged a screw driver into the gears so it didn't move, not sure why he said to line up timing marks but I did anyway the flywheel is directional only goes on one way !! It did make a big difference thank you joe henner for the key big difference dam thing tried to take flight was not expecting that big of change I also adjusted my butterfly on my intake wow.
