  • Hello all you Kayo K6 lovers out there...in this video I am testing the 300cc big bore kit and this is day 2 of testing. I feel this video is a little better as I had finished the break in period last time out and now she can be opened up. Please remember to give the video a like on the old CZcams.
    Thanks !!

Nice video Dave, I enjoy your testing of the 300 kit 😀 to obtain this was it a larger bore and or lengthen the rod ? I'm impressed that a smaller company would have such a kit available, pretty cool 😎 stuff must say . Your bike does remind me of ktm as well .. is 300 the largest displacement offered or is there a 450 ? I rode a rmz 450 couple weeks ago and loved it !!! I was looking at a gasgas 350 for 2024 but do have a beta dealer 2 hrs away , going this weekend to look at it . I like how you had fun , I am 55 and race 40+ and vet classes on my 23 sx 250 and 92 ktm 500 pre mix`r and have always said when you are having fun you ride well !!! Great informative video Dave, keep up the good 👍 work

Thanks...this is bigger bore kit...249cc to 298cc..cylinder and piston only...Beta 300 2 smokers I've seen around are different...Gas Gas are cool...I would go 2 stroke again..I don't like the feel of 4 strokes....but we run whst we got 🤣🤣... Have fun and be safe.👍

I don't know how ya do the four stroke man. I started on four stroke trail bike, and ditched that the first time I rode a 125 two. Having a bike is better than not having one at the end of the day.

Not gonna lie..miss 2 strokes...but 4 strokes are what has been around for like 20 yrs so thought I should try them...and granted these Kayos are down some on power...but that lack of a quick hit and engine spin up is hard for me to adjust to.

GPX’s manual recommended 50-100 mm sag for the TSE 250R (it’s basically the same bike as mine). Maybe that’s a thing for the Chinese dirt bikes? I’m at 80 mm now, but shall go towards 50 mm to see if it will turn better. I feel it’s to low in the rear.

Yeah, same here...feels to low in rear...I raised the forks in the clamps to the second line on the tubes to even things out...it turns fine now..I am chasing ride balance...so the suspension works evenly...also it doesn't spring quickly off of obstacles like the Big 5 brands...gonna install a Showa rear shock next to see if that works...it's a little longer so it should raise the rear and change the suspension ratio of linkage 🤞

@@Dirt_Bike_Davenice! I also raised the forks. As much as I could. I probably need a stiffer spring since I'm in the upper range of this spring with my 181 lbs + gear. Had a nice morning ride today 😀
