Subtracting Klay and CP3 and adding Melton, Anderson, and Hield definitely makes us better. Melton and Anderson make us miles better defensively

Buddy hield in this system is a good fit chief. Nobody is saying he’s a star or will save the warriors, but he fits the system and is an elite shooter.

We weren’t going anywhere running it back with CP and Klay. I’d rather have us take some chances with change vs being sentimental. Both sides benefitted.
Teams still respected Klay and had to play defense on him. Klay knew the offensive / defensive sets.
And, that’s the positives. Klay was a pretty average wing player last year.
I watched Klay last year some of the time standing around and watching the game go by.

Yea, his shooting was streaky, his defense was bad all while making 43 mill , and his vibes were off

I’m fine with a player like that if he doesn’t have a bad attitude and doesn’t get mad because he’s coming off the bench and is at a much cheaper price. We all appreciate klay and what he did, but it’s ok to be real with his situation this year

We had to get better w Klay last year. Remember? Klay’s back ups helped us win enough games to play in. BP Santos and Quinones.
Klay was out for two years and received an extension from the Warriors when they knew he couldn't play. Then he begrudges the young man who filled in for him while him while he was out and helped the team win enough regular season games to make the playoffs from getting paid.
Klay didn't come back until January 2022 and his contract was not set to expire for another two years whereas Poole's was expiring in 2022.
The ego of it all.
This is exactly why this happened to you Klay. You were paid handsomely even when you didn't play and you deserved it. However to think that JP shouldn't have received an extension before you is just selfish.
Seed, Time and Harvest Klay. You sowed ugly seeds and that is what life gave you back.
