Several people often overlook what appear to be minor deals while route planning however later in the trip those minor issues as with everything in sailing become serious issues. This video was a good overview of route planning but I would have liked to see more specifics about where you look for the data to that you need to perform that planning.
Agree, was meant to be a very basic over view. I have several specific routes and videos for them but I may do am in depth guide like you stated on where to get your information as well

Thanks tim , I will do a more in depth route planning one and what you expect even entering. As far as solo sailing there are a variety of ways, most involve minimal sleep and alarms when crossing oceans 😴
