Father, your video came at a perfect time. Thank you so much for giving such a simple and concise perspective on this topic. As I used to explain to others, sometimes having Bible debates would feel like we're throwing rocks at each other in the form of Bible verses, and at the end of the day, it might even be detrimental to faith as it could distract us from focusing on what's truly important or on what the greater good is, which is God. Sometimes, the path could seem really narrow but at least we're still hopefully walking in the right direction! God bless.

So, according to Jesus, there are a group of people that will hear the Word of God and understand it:
Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mark 4:14 ¶ The sower soweth the word.
Mark 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
    Mark 4:16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
Mark 4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
Mark 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
Mark 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
So, rather than run around looking for "commentaries" to support a doctrine/theology, you are better served to pray to be one of those mentioned in Mark 4:20.
The Bible hasn't failed, man has failed!

Having Bible debates is tremendously frustrating for Catholics. I get it, lol.
You keep running into Protestants who can quote more scripture than you’ve read. (This has been born out in studies done by Pew and other polling/research groups, BTW).
And please don’t ever try to figure out why only 1% or less of Greek Christians are Catholic … you can’t make stuff up when dealing with people who speak modern Greek, and have studied ancient Koine Greek for most of their lives in public school.
So yeah, kind of pointless trying to debate something you don’t really study, and demonstrably don’t understand.

I can see you understand and agree with Jesus:
      MATTHEW 11:25
"At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."

The" word of God" is an advertising slogan..like "Things go better with Coke"..No one believes either is celestially inspired.
My favorite which is definitely god inspired is "The nicest people ride a Honda" ..amen

No, it's a meta analysis of the debate.
