    Confession is where there’s a real crisis. Only 7% go monthly and only 43% go at least once a year.

      True, and Parishes don't offer it much either so no one can go if it isn't even offered! 30 minutes to 1 hour on Saturdays won't give enough time for a large Parish to go to Confession!!

    • @ochudonobodo
      @ochudonobodo Před 28 dny +4

      It lies with the parish priest. Let priests study and read the life of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of priests. Preach about the advantages of going to Confession. At least either in announcements or sermons , talk about the Sacrament of Reconciliation and its beauty.

    Transubstantiation is a miracle of faith. The bread and wine don't change chemically. The bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus because of faith in the words of Christ in the gospels.

    Learning about the teachings of St. Margaret Mary on Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus really increased my love for Jesus in His True Presence. Here we learn how even back during St. Margaret Mary's time (1600's) there was lack of belief and outrages committed against His True Presence.

    I think both are accurate. There is a difference between all Catholics and mass attending Catholics. If I recall correctly the number of “former” Catholics would be the largest Protestant denomination if they were all together vs atheists and all the various Protestant denominations they’ve joined.

    The jews ate the Passover sacrificial lamb after it was slain, Jesus was the the sacrificial Lamb and he was preparing himself for the death on the cross and told his disciples to eat his flesh and drink his blood the way they would have eaten the sacrificed lamb so it is the new covenant replacing the old and it is real thanks Father !

    Seems like a much more reliable study! Makes a lot of sense: you call yourself Catholic but attend Mass rarely, how can you believe in the Real Presence?? On the other hand, you go to Mass at least on Sundays and holy days of obligation, then the odds are much much greater that you truly believe He is really present in the Eucharist. 🔥☘🔥

      Uh.. if this is to dismiss the eucharist you are using this verse VERY literally.
      This verse is about the people just indulging in their sin and desires, this has nothing to do with an actual deity being eaten and going into their stomachs.
      Please do your research on the scriptures and the eucharist to discover Christ's real presence in both.
