If you are going to take history, you should be aware that 'modern' is a relative term. People in 18th century were modern compared to 15th century people. Just a point to ponder.

Please, explain to me something because I am bit confused. Why there are things you say in the video we should avoid in a personal statement. But, in your website the examples are the opposite? It does not make any sense.

Most of the average universities dont even read it they just send you an offer (only top ones like cambride, oxford, lse, imperial etc do)
Not for all courses though... Oxford doesn't place much importance to PS for courses like chem

Kyle And after a comma the next letter isn't capitalised. I would be more worried about spelling mistakes rather than symbols :)
