I picture this song playing as the world collapses silently in the background.
I've thought the same as well. The image of one person playing this in an empty concert hall, as nuclear warheads rain down across the globe always comes to mind.
Or an image of one person playing it, meanwhile outside, soldiers march through, executing everyone who comes near.
It's the song of temporary peace, yet also one of sorrow. But it also is a song of finality. One of the end of something. It only seems fitting to be played at the end of the world.
I have the same kind of feeling... but I imagine the planet Earth from its begining until its total collapse.

I've had the opportunity to play on a some Steinway pianos from D, B and even the Hamburg model C at the music store. They are worth every penny. I'm not a concert pianist, no higher than intermediate level with an ear to play chords here and there, but a high quality piano such as a Steinway brings so much inspiration to you as a pianist while playing. The sound is simply beautiful and the action of the keys is so responsive to your emotions. Never have I felt so much connection to a piano before. I shall buy one someday.
And so have you bought a Steinway yet? And how has your journey as a pianist progressed? Curious to know :)
@@coolpianostuff Haven’t bought a Steinway yet but I did upgrade from a Casio digital piano with hammer graded keys to a new Yamaha U3 upright. The action isn’t like a grand (and a Model D for that matter) due to the mechanism as an upright action but it’s nice to play on actual wooden keys striking hammers on acoustic strings with sound coming from a sound board. Perhaps one day I’ll get a grand but I’ll need to move to a bigger home first. Haha. Thanks for asking.
@@vangmx Congratulations on the upright!! It really is different from playing on a digital piano :) Hope you get that Steinway one day, good luck!

nade I know, but is it really still that bad? I really don’t hear much difference between a high quality spotify track or the same on YT. And that’s with expansive studio headphones and a good hearing.
@@FutureOfGamesNL that's because even high quality in spotify is still highly compressed
@@pepriday6435 There is tons of research now from double-blind studies, AB testing etc that these differences are usually in the mind of the listener. The bottleneck to audio quality is the human ear - after a certain point increases in bit rate/reduced compression are no longer detectable under blind conditions. The audio in this track is not perfect because it's probably not using the very best possible microphone and conditions. But it's unlikely that audio compression is having much affect on your experience.
Amazing piano and superb execution. Everything was perfect here. And I love how you focused on the piano at some point rather than looking straight into the camera like it was just another one of your videos. I can tell you really enjoyed playing on that beautiful instrument. Bravo.

It's strange how when you know a song back and forth and you've played it hundreds of times but when you hear someone of Vinheteiro's caliber play it you suddenly hear different sounds coming out.
