Gooooôd frome Algérie
I had that happen on my Gold Wing I sure wish I had seen this video first. that was a fantastic repair job
Oh dang! Now you know what to do next time 😄🤙🏼 Thank you Jim!
Very clever tip with the clamps Mitch!! Regarding the orientation of the valve stems, both of them should face the right side of the bike (or the opposite side of the side stand). This makes it easier to put air when the bike is on the side stand. Motorcycles that come with such angled stems from factory, have them facing the right side.
Thanks! Oh yes that's true!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Mitch , that information was priceless. Thank you very much. You are awesome.
Great video and great tip. I never realized how easy it was to change one of those.
Excellent. I would never have thought it could be done with the wheel still on the bike! I've just bought one! I think these vids are going to come in useful. Thanks Mitch!
Thanks for the tips! Helped a lot!
Once again, I like your video. You keep the repairs cheap and simple.
Thank you so much! Glad to share! 👍🏼
Hi Mitch, I have been motorcycling (and scootering) since 1964 and came across your videos researching Burgman 400's as I'm intending to get one for the last few years of my two-wheeling life......
They are excellent and though I have been maintaining and repairing my own bikes since then have learnt plenty from your stuff, so many thanks for the uploads. Subscribed :-)
Thanks, Mitch! I just replaced my valve stem with your video. I'm feeling mighty accomplished, working on my motorcycle all by myself 😊
You're good people Mitch...good videos...good family. I like this
😎🙏🏼
Mitch, once again your videos are amazingly clear and well produced. I've learned so much from you! Thanks again. Tom 1985 Honda CH250
you are a lovely genuine guy Mitch, thanks for your digital help! Much love from Norway.
Nice to see you again!
Hey, thanks!
Good video Mitch , very useful information about back wheel valve stem and not taking tyre off thanks for sharing ☺
You're welcome Stephon!
Thanks for this video. It was very helpful and saved me a lot of time. Great Job and Ride safe.
Nice and useful video. Used your very informative steps with a 5 inch g clamp and a 10 inch f clamp to remove and reinstall the valve which was broken similarly
DESDE ESPAÑA SOY SEGUIDOR TUYO ERES UN CRACK ERES LO MAS EXPLICACIONES, FÁCILES, DE ENTENDER Y DE APLICAR GRACIAS POR TU LABOR Y TU CONSTANCIA SIGUE ASÍ, GRACIAS AMIGO.
Thank you so much for the tip. Everything worked out for me exactly as your tutorial showed. I was in a pinch when I looked into possible remedies that didn't involve removing the entire wheel. I would add that putting the bike on the center kickstand if it is available should be done when filling the tire back up. Thanks again!😊
Great to hear!😄🙌🏼
Another great one Mitch 😎👍🏼. Love the videos
Thanks Anthony!
Saludos desde Guadalajara, México, excelentes sus videos 👍👏
Amazing videos. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
Thx bro great vid and saves me lots of $$$ and time from taking the tire off.
Thank you! I'm swapping out my tires and figured I should swap out valve stems as well. Perfect video.
Glad it helped
This happened to me twice this year. 3 months ago on the rear and last week on the front.
I always change the valves when I change my tires, so I have around 100 new ones on the shelf, but I never thought about using those clamps.
I always have removed the complete wheel to do this. This will save me some time when I brake off a valve again someday.
Thanks Mitch...👍
Dang that sucks.. yeah best to replace every time changing the tire... rubber can get dry and crack! Yes C clamps save a lot of time :) 🙌🏼
Dude your the man!!! Thk for the video keep them coming.
Thanks! Will do!
Most excellent tip Mitch...👍.
Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼
Super helpful!!!!!! Many thanks!!!
Very helpful!!! Big thanks 🙏🏾
No problem!!😎
The c-clamp trick is very smart. Ill be doing this some time over winter. And adding dyna beads. Thx Mitch
Yeah! Dyna beads are awesome, been using for like 10 years now
This exactly what is wrong with mine at the moment. A leak from a tare at the valve because its so hard to get access to when pumping up tyres. Thank you.
Thanks brother worked like a charm
Awesome!
Hi Mitch. I'm a 61 yr young female. Though I dont do the repairs to my k5 400S it's nice to know what the job entails so I wont get ripped off by repair persons. Sometimes they tell a woman these tall tails to make the job appear to be more than it is. Thank you for explaining things simply and thoroughly
awesome video thanks for the tips
I have a Burgman K1 at 100,000 km and I love it very much and drive him every day. I repair everything in my Burgy with my hands. Like for you from Bulgaria!!!!
That's awesome! 😄🙌🏼❤️
thanks for sharing this video, a great greeting from Spain
Our pleasure!
Great videos. Love to watch them and i dont even own a burgman.....yet.
Thank you! Oh wow!
nice easy way to fix a valve . i was thinking wheel off tyre off ,but no . nice tip there mitch . seems im not to old to learn new tricks :)
😂😉👍🏼
I did it the same way this spring on my 1100 Shadow Spirit rear tire. It wasn't leaking yet but I could see the dangerous valve cracking. Tire was about 85% tread. Both beads broke loose and I had to use a rachet strap arount the tread to get the tire against the rim so pressure started building up. You did a great job on this video Mitch which should be very helpful to many. Thank You.
That's awesome yeah keep us safe on the road! Oh yeah ratchet strap works great for who having a hard time to get bead seated. Thanks and ride safe Jeff!
I have an 1100 Spirit and the same situation. This guy's great video and your comment got me through. Thanks to you both. Safe riding.
Thanks. I got a harley but same technique applies. Saved me a few hundred for this one.
Tks alot for the right side tip!
Happy to help!
Thank you Mitch, I would have taken the wheel off and taken it to a tyre repair shop. costing me money. With your valuable help, I should be able to do it myself.
Love to hear that!
Great video! Very useful
Glad to hear it!

You’re welcome! 😄🙌🏼
Do you have any tips how to seat the bead if i dont have an air compressor? I only have a small 12volt one I keep in my car.. thanks
5:24 my Goldwing valves are directional as well.. easily overlooked if your brain thinks the other way is more convenient from the side-stand 👍😎✊
Hi, I have a question, how and where are the locks in piaggio fly 50 2t, how to download them to make it faster thanks for the answer greetings
Great!

Hey Mitch, great stuff man! Just a question, if I don't have an air compressor, how to seat the beads?
Thanks Roy! Oh man... I am not sure... air compressor is easiest way to do... you could bring to car tire shop or gas station to use air compressor :)
@@MitchsScooterStuff I see. It's okay Mitch, thank you for them videos. Pretty much enjoy them and very detailed. Too bad I don't own a Vespa, but Honda ADV150 ;)
i bought a budget air chuck with built in gauge. No more checking back and forth and i can release air via button on the air chuck. I almost want to air my tires now just so i can use the air chuck lol.
merci beaucoup
Anytime!

I can't believe your burgman 400 was already 13 y/old.
I know!! It's crazy!! I bought it brand new with 0 miles on it on June 27, 2007! Still my baby! ❤️
Rubber these days isn't worth a pinch of shit , perishes quickly now
