Most of that immigration was post Thatcherism. Immigration from the UK to Australia is at record lows now. About 20 years ago, Brits were probably 40% of all immigrants. They will be in single digits very soon, being squashed by immigrants by let’s just say from other countries.

Somehow I really doubt that, due to the fact that out population increased by just 2 million for 5 years between 2016 and 2021 under the same government. So to increase by 2 million in just 1 year is very unrealistic. But we'll see when the next census in 2026 happens

I am a New Yorker who LOVES Adventure time!! I am honestly a little suppressed that my home state and the east coast all together doesn’t watch it that much, but it makes sense for the west coast and south west to watch it with cartoon network coming out of California. On the other hand though, if I ask other NYC kids my age, especially those who were kids and adolescents in the 2010s, they are likely to know it.

West Virignia native here; we're actually seeing a net-increase in migration for the first time in a while. Our population, however, just currently skews older so right now that bill is coming do. We've actually been doing well economically so, hopefully, we'll start to see population growth again within the next couple years.

They still come from there but not in as stronger numbers. Changed from Italian in the 1950s and 60s and Greeks. To Lebanon and other Arab states, some as refugees. The Indians and Chinese now are coming in large numbers from the 1990s.

As a British man, I've often thought of leaving for either Canada or Australia. I mean obviously I'd wanna go to an English speaking country, Canada seems to have nice people and similar climate that I'm used to. Australia I'd go to mainly for the warm weather but it seems like it's starting to get a bit too warm down there these days? I wouldn't go anywhere near the US as long as Americans live there lmao.

Australia isn't as warm in the southern parts. Tasmania in particular is quite nice from what I hear :)
Australia has a really nice weather, from what I've seen. Never been there, but comparing the temperatures with my country, it's definitely colder there than it is here.
