    ESL learner here:
    The sentence makes complete sense.
Apparently there is an alarm going on about the property sector of China - i.e. the "China property sector alarm". And it (the alarm) is being fanned (this is the verb) by a slide (i.e. decline) in home prices in Beijing. So to conclude: The rapidly declining prices for homes in Beijing causes the already tense situation on the chinese real estate market to be even more tense. Or, as the newspaper titled: Beijing home price slide fans China property sector alarm. Easy :D

    For F’s sake.
The sheer hatred of british beans. Lets sort this out once and for all!
    Americans 👏🏻 dont 👏🏻 realise 👏🏻 British 👏🏻 beans 👏🏻 arent 👏🏻 like 👏🏻 americans 👏🏻 have 👏🏻 their 👏🏻 beans
American beans - bigger, usually BBQ in flavour, not enhanced in anyway by adding grated cheese on top
British beans - smaller, a more complex mixture of tomato, & savoury/ sweet flavours, and god tier comfort food especially with lashings upon lashing of grated cheese on top.
Put the beans and rapidly melting cheese onto thick, white BUTTERED toast (for some reason yanks always have toast dry) and its great!
Its not meant to be the absolute last word in food, its meant to be a filling, cheap, tasty & relatively healthy meal compared to junk food. We dont eat them every day, I might have beans once or twice a month with various things.
Please get over the fact its beans because not all beans & their sauces are the same.
