- This is one of my old footages that I recorded back around 8/20/22.
This will be my last recording of DDOT's 2010 New Flyer D40LF that is operating on route 4 Woodward (southbound) to Rosa Parks Transit Center (weeknights and weekends only), as it was later retired in either later 2022 or late-December of 2023. ALL remaining 1000 series of the D40LF buses have been retired as of late-December of 2023 and were replaced with the 2022 & 2023 New Flyer XD40 units (#2200-2237) (#2300-2309). However, bus #1015 was reassigned as a Mobile Outreach Center bus, and is currently used as the DDOT Reimagined Exhibition bus.
R.I.P., 1000 series D40LF's... You will be forever missed...
Engine: Cummins ISL
Transmission: Allison B400R - Auta a dopravní prostředky
RIP to DDOT New Flyer D40LF.
Unbelievable!! It feels like it wasn't long ago when these buses went into service. I can't believe it's been 14 years already. Great video as always.
Thanks! It's been a while since you've commented on my video. Because of driver shortages and service reductions, these D40LF buses were unfeasible to remain in service.
When was this ? I live in Detroit and haven't seen these flyers since 2019
Wish they could've kept these buses in service
Sadly, because of a driver shortage, keeping these D40LF units was no longer feasible.
@@baul104 That's lame to be honest
Dang they're being retired already?
All DDOT's D40LF'S are already retired
@@dangelohartley5977 wow
They were retired between 2022 and 2023.
Hey baul there making a daytime Toonami block and it’s going to be called Toonami rewind and it’s going to be a 5pm to 7pm block you should do a video of it
@TheKryptonianSaiyan We'll see. But next time, please don't comment on anything else that's not related to transportation videos.
