DDOT 2010 New Flyer D40LF #1025 (RETIRED)
This is one of my old footages that I recorded back around 8/20/22.
This will be my last recording of DDOT's 2010 New Flyer D40LF that is operating on route 4 Woodward (southbound) to Rosa Parks Transit Center (weeknights and weekends only), as it was later retired in either later 2022 or late-December of 2023. ALL remaining 1000 series of the D40LF buses have been retired as of late-December of 2023 and were replaced with the 2022 & 2023 New Flyer XD40 units (#2200-2237) (#2300-2309). However, bus #1015 was reassigned as a Mobile Outreach Center bus, and is currently used as the DDOT Reimagined Exhibition bus.
R.I.P., 1000 series D40LF's... You will be forever missed...

What phone are you replacing it with
I've replaced it with Samsung Note20 5G since December of 2020, but I have since exchanged it for the Samsung 24 Ultra as of February 2024.
As a bus operator from Lansing/East Lansing. I appreciated your videos in the Detroit Metro area.

Thanks! It's been a while since you've commented on my video. Because of driver shortages and service reductions, these D40LF buses were unfeasible to remain in service.

Oakland smart buses are so missed up and they don't run good at all Macomb smart buses run really fast and good and Wayne smart buses do to

Well, sorry that you missed out riding this route... This route will be replaced by SMART Flex--a SMART bus microtransit service on Monday, April 22nd, 2024.
@@baul104 Also, AAATA in Ann Arbor, MI is adding a new route in the next few weeks. An express route known as Rt 104 Washtenaw Express which will mimic Rt 4 Washtenaw (will be renamed "Washtenaw Local")

That’s strange, looks as though it is one of those situations where the wrong fan is in the box. Definitely not an Air King, seems to be a window fan. I’d potentially be interested in the fan if you’re not getting it.

Welcome back, paisano! Happy New Years! In similar news, Boomerang Network is doing very well under the management of Michael Ouweleen! They've begun bringing back a lot of old Hanna-Barbera shows like Top Cat, Jabberjaw, and Yo Yogi, and plenty more. Also, there are rumors (not the truth, just rumors) that the network may be getting another rebrand, but we'll have to see about that. (Similar to how it's now Cartoonito in some countries.)

On the Proterra ZX5 40 ev bus is this the 7 mile route heading into the old Redford Meijer store.and 7 mile road got a lot of rough pot holes between the liversnois and greenfield and Southfield freeway.

The Shoemaker bus terminal has a bus battery charger there. There is no charger at the Rosa Parks Transit Center, unfortunately.

What happened to State fairgrounds Transit Center
They're usually found on some eastside routes such as 31 Mack and 9 Jefferson. It can SOMETIMES be found on the westside on 7 Seven Mile. DDOT will be getting 4 new electric-powered buses in the future. All four of them will be from New Flyer Industries and the models will be New Flyer XE40 and XE60. I'm not sure what electric-powered buses SMART will be getting, too... Could be either Gillig or New Flyer.

Man I showed missed these units on the road in service back in the day on the streets of Detroit I remember I couldn't wait to rides these DDOT Buses back 1995 from when they bought them owned by Smart SEMTA Transit.
