I use sewart and unfortunately when I upload the image to my se400 it does not separate the colors into a different file. you don't know what software you used? do you remember how much it costs? I've tried a couple of different softwares to cover the my images into the .PES files but nothing like yours. the name of the software should be in the top left corner of the file when you open it to work on your images thx!
You do not change the bobbin thread as the color won't show. Just make sure you are using Polyester #60 thread for the bobbin. When it's time to change the color, the machine will cut the current thread and tell you which color to thread next.

Water-soluble topping stabilizers work so much better when doing either knits or terry cloth. Keeps the needle from hooking into the loops and on knits, keeps it from stretching the fabric.
How exactly does this work? If I wanted to monogram towels and give them as gifts, can I remove the stabilizer without washing the towel? Sorry if this is a stupid question. This is all new to me.

Hi. No, the lower bobbin does not have to be changed. If i recall correctly you can use just one color bobbin, for example same color as your base material.

+Pauline Hofstetter It is available under different names from different manufacturers. I got mine on Amazon, but I'm sure it's available at your local fabric stores. Look for water soluble, but be sure not to get the really thick stuff, that's for free standing lace. It will be a very thin product. Do a search on Google to get some of the names it's called. Btw, I'm trying not to endorse a specific product because there are a lot of them out there now. Hope this helps.

Yes, it stops, because color changing is manual.

Most people do not change the bobbin tread for embroidery. I always use white.

john Al The little slide bar does that. The needle packages say for embrodery so you buy the special needles.
