Greetings, thank you for your presentation.
Is there any method to control the shadow softnesses with lumen?

Not specifically the softness with the Lumen settings. I would look to camera/local exposure settings to achieve this.

Hi. Great video as always. sorry I have a question which is not related to this video.
when I drag a native Twinmotion object to the scene for example a table with chairs (a compound object) there is a parent child relationship to table and chairs which at first click I select the whole object and with second click I can select individual objects like chairs or plate on the table. and there is this parent child relationship with sketchfab objects also. but when I want to create my custom library I can not make this relationshiop between objects and when I want to move the whole thing I should select main container from scene graph. can you help me on that. thank you

My guess is based on how you add these to the custom folder. They should keep their relationship as it is in your scene graph if you select them and add them from there.

NO problem doing this. When you import tweo objects into your scene, like a table and chair. Drag the chair in the scene panel up to the table, this will embed the chair as a child of the parent. You will see a drop down appear next to the Table, stating it has become a parent. Then you save the table to your user library. I even used two different items from my own user library to do this just now. I added the two vending machines (with the relationship) to my library.... Then I tested it, dropped it back in the scene, and I could do the exact thing you asked. I clicked on the parent and both highlighted, then I hit esc, and clicked the child and just it highlighted. This allows for the selecting just the parent item to enact changes to the whole group. However the complication comes in , if the parent item is not a single collapsed mesh. I tested an umbrella, which had parts, and that caused me to select just that mesh... You have to make sure the Parent item (or part) is a single mesh. I just trouble shot the problem i caused, and used the tent top mesh as the Main Parent piece, dragged everything into it, it became the parent of all the other tent meshes, as well as the two soda vending machines. I then had a multi-layered parent. The tent top was the main and then I could click down into the vending machines, all the way to the single vending machine, but if i wanted to move the whole, i just clicked the tent top mesh (the main parent). I hope this helps and wasn't confusing.

it was mention that lumen still has problems calculating light bounces from meshes making it harder for the light and reflections to look accuarate

One thing I discovered while testing out this new version is that when using Lumen and rendering out video with Refinement on High, HDRI sky environments create weird reflections on water where the sky and horizon meet. It becomes very noticeable in night scenes. @@ArchitectureVanguard

I unfortunately do not have a discord server yet. My setup includes a 7900x CPU and a 3080ti GPU.

the flickering in the path tracer video is due to the denoiser

When you render a scene, everything max out. You don't need to max out in the viewport.

@@jacobgorton2862 Check if your graphics card supports Path tracer, because in the latest updates only NVIDIA RTX or AMD RX 6000 series graphics cards and higher can use that technology, so if you have a GTX card for example you wouldn't be able to use Path tracer.
