What I love about Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington is that you'll be hard pressed to find a bad movie by either of them. I'm sure there are some especially since they've been in so many films but there aren't many and I personally can't think of one Denzel Washington movie that I didn't like.

I have literally saw all of their movies and none of them are bad.
I've always respected and loved both of these spectacular actors for their incredible acting abilities. What I love the most is how truly genuine they are and the fact that they're just amazing human beings.
I thought Morgan deserved an Oscar for 'Shawshank Redemption' too.

tony my friend you impressed me by being so human in your comment ... the love for compassion and the hope that compassion be real ... because we do fear our hearts ... we all are afraid of our capability to pretend and not be. I myself am an old man and only once in my life have I been a bit selfless.
Fun part is that I got jailed for a short period for that one crowning moment of my life when I gave up my personal safety for a economically poor and physically oppressed kid, oppressed by a policeman so obviously police charged me with some fake case: no it was not that the kid was getting beaten up or something, the kid was getting raped by the policeman his step dad since age 11 till I found out and against my instinct for self-preservation I reported the crime. I am still having to spend money to defend that kid and still fighting the police.
If I could go back in time I would never do it again because life has become so tough since. I do feel ashamed that I say I would not do it again, that is because I am a very ordinary old person left alone by myself ... only because I didn't want to know a kid was getting raped.
I know it sounds kafkaesque, I myself didn't know Kafka's world does exist.

I could watch THAT man walk ANYWHERE at ANY TIME🙌🏾😍....The movie Glory is where I first saw Denzel. We went to see this movie as part of a project, I was a sophomore in high school and completely clueless regarding the fight that these 'Negroe soldiers' had to endure just to serve in a war that wouldn't benefit them in the end at all, smh. The cardboard "boots" and Denzel's character getting whipped for daring to go and find him some damn BOOTS to continue on and fight, is what broke my 15 year old bratty self and immature self DOWN. This movie taught me more about US in 2 hours, than all of my school years combined, smh...When we left that movie and got on that bus, no one said a word. We were angry, disappointed, inspired and motivated...THAT'S how phenomenal Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman are, they made those characters speak from beyond the grave and you can't teach those emotions, you either got it, or you don't😍🥰😍

Wow what good humans Mr. Freeman and Mr. Washington are, I am an old man and have seen a bit, but knowing straightforward humans has been the only memory that I would wish to retain (if I am allowed by nature). In any case we humans mess up the moment we try become.
Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington, two of the greatest actors of all time, I am 63 and a white guy living in Australia, these two guys have stayed grounded their whole career, Jimmy Stewart and Spencer Tracy were great actors too, but not as good as MF and DW. and how Morgan Freeman didn't win the Oscar for his outstanding performance in The Shawshank Redemption is beyond logic.
He didn't win because of Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump. I don't think that's "beyond logic".

I am big fan of Denzel Washington. The movie I liked the most is Antwon’s Fisher story in which he played the doctor. Love that movie.

Weeell, let's not lose our heads. Denzel is a great actor, but greater than Freeman? I wouldn't say that with any certainty. Both can completely arrest an audience, command attention, impart real feeling, and carry a film.

I remember one of Morgan Freeman's earliest roles was in the Robert Redford film "Brubaker" about a warden who comes in undercover to witness what goes on in a corrupt prison then shakes things up. Freeman played a prisoner in solitary confinement. It was about 5 minutes or so of screen time.
