If I remember correctly the lore is that Kentucky is on a lockdown exclusion zone type deal and the state is cut off from the rest of the world, so realistically they’re some of the last people in Kentucky. The rest of the world is okay for now. Again though I could be very wrong lol.

@@FunkThompson Well of course its not realistic in pulling a bullet out of your head but the fight itself wasnt just "whoever saw each other first wins" and then unload the mag into each other. There was cat and mouse, back and forth, hiding and peaking over, like a real gunfight.
It was genuinely impressive. My first instinct was to break contact to the tents and stuff before they flanked, but it worked out in the end. You playing with Zs on? I had a similar experience a year or so ago. I killed one, took a bullet, wounded the other, but the gunfight brought in zombies. Went through 7 mags trying to get away from the hoard with a shot up leg, and was killed by the surviving raiders buddy who had a bolt action when I was down to a revolver... Now I try and use cars with sirens, so as an act of defiance, I can make it a pain to get the crap I was looting if I get ambushed.
interesting story: i just finished a supply run in PZ, during the run i was being chased by zombies and i tried taking shelter in a house to rest, i heard a zombie banging on a door so i readied to clear it out, but there were FOUR zombies in that one room. i went running and ran through a door i THOUGHT was the exit, but instead it just led to a tiny closet. so now i was stuck inside a small room with only one door, and zombies on the other side of it. my only option was to run out before they were all at the door and pray i didnt get bitten. i tripped and ripped off some of my bandages in the process but i was fine otherwise.

No it's a survival game but there are some pvp servers. Meaning you'll go for a bit without seeing someone while looting up then it just depends when you see someone once you die you actually lose progress which was why this pvp interaction was so intense. ... I just went on a yap session lmao

Zomboid is where the real high IQ PvP happens. When you take aim and movement out of the equation it becomes a battle of wits.
There should be possibility to hit the deck, prone and shoot, but noone thought about it in a zombie game.
