I believe the fish represent how Taylor compares her life to a fish bowl, as in everything she does is a spectacle and she's constantly being watched from the outside.

the fish at 6:30 ish. Easter Egg shout out to her third album, Speak Now.
The koi fish are a reference to a specific birthday gift she got from Bob Taylor (guitar maker): one of a hundred blue guitars decorated with koi fish. She got it iirc when she turned 19 (and her Fearless album was AOTY). Her songs and music sparked a massive spike in guitar/banjo/ukulele/piano sales ( for all manufacturers); and her signature was a Taylor Presentation Model custom Koa (around $10k the way they decorated it). She used the blue guitar (Living Jewels was what Taylor Guitars called it) for some songs every show for her world tour for Speak Now (her third album).
One of the original models is currently for sale on Reverb. For $20,000. I don't know if Bob Taylor went back later and made more. They made them in 2000, several years before Taylor was making records.
Love your reactions to Taylor's wonderful videos. She's my all time favorite performer. I'd love to see you react to some of her live performances, ie. "Out of the Woods" from her 1989 world tour, and "Don't Blame Me" from her reputation tour as just two examples. Also, my favorite chanteuse is the great Lara Fabian. I notice you're also a fan. She has two live performances that I'm particularly fond of, "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore" and a collab. with Laura Pausini, "La Solitudine". Both are real gems. Maybe you'll react to them too? The Koi fish are an easter egg, she has a guitar with Koi fish that she used during her Speak Now tour, the guitar also made an appearance in her Anti-Hero MV. So with all of the easter eggs, especially in her Bejeweled MV, it is clear to most of us that her Speak Now will be her next re-record, this is the album that she wrote by herself. The fish in space is Joe, he is a Pisces, the fish sign. Taylor only dated like 8-9 guys in her history, most men would have dated more women during that time span, and nothing would be said. Great reaction.
