Exactly. Purdy is a terrific passer especially for a rookie and he's slippery enough to get outta trouble and even hit a few nice runs. But yeah he's a great fit and poised like a young Joe Montana. That's what's most impressive. One thing that impressed us watching the Seahawks game last Sunday was when he was running around looking for an open guy and found BA in far corner of End zone threw pass that hit him in numbers and he dropped it.😭 But Purdy had like Oh well no bfd look instead of jumping up and down with a grimaced look like lots of QBs would do. So that right there showed a level of maturity as it was a total highlight play gone awry and it didn't bother him. Composure is a big asset in great QBs.
Like how everyone praises Kyle, but when we started the year slowly, everybody was out with their pitchforks spewing nonsense saying to trade him and call it a year lol. He never changed the offense. Brock just sees the field better and looks more comfortable in the pocket than jimmy and isn't afraid to throw deep. I've seen multiple plays where there are people open downfield that jimmy fails to see.
I feel like Lance had a simplified playbook with short throws, handoffs, and options. The play calling changed with Jimmy and it’s been the same playbook for Brock. Jimmy tends to be a little more conservative and dumps the ball off to his check downs a lot. Brock has swagger and attempts those throws to secondary receivers.
@@laotse_ we noticed. Jimmy was ignoring Kittle too much. You have to get him involved every game. Niners got so many A1 offensive weapons I can understand it's hard to keep em all happy every game.
If you get 28 points up in the first half and come back in the second half in the super bowl with the 49ers are you going to continue to have the quarterback pass or are you going to hold on to the ball and run? Have you ever been in that scenario before?
I like to play the over and under on Kyle's "Umm's" 50 is the baseline but betting the over on 75 really depends on how long the press conference lasts.

Purdy is a great Quarterback and someday in the future. I say keep in mind about Garopello. He is a good Quarterback also. This is just my opinion .We need him back
If I were Shanahan and Trey Lance, Jimmy G and Brock Purdy were all healthy, I'd start Purdy. The question is whether in the offseason opposing teams will scout him and find weaknesses, similar to what happened to Colin Kaepernick when he took the reins mid-season from an injured Alex Smith. Having figured out how to stop Colin from running, opposing teams stopped him in his tracks and exposed his inability to throw the ball consistently.
The Niners are the best team in the league. Stay healthy, they’ll be difficult to beat. Purdy has heart, is surrounded by phenomenal talent, and Defenses win championships
This is going to change how teams look for QBs. You have to look at your offense and find a QB that fits in your system and that's how Purdy works into Kyle's system just like Trey would if he gets a chance to run it.
Trey Lance need lots of improvement..1st: his throwing mechanics..2nd his accuracy problems short and intermediate routes..3rd learns to read defense pre and post snaps and 4th..he need to learns how to slide
Tre ain't shit and watch . Well get rid of him ... why you think mysteriously he's hurt and out. We don't want him. Thank GOD for Brock Purdy 🙏 And thank you God for tre getting his shit broken
@@mcchulogan91 Purdy wasn't a starter until he played, and you can say the same for Trey. Go and watch his full pro day on CZcams and then come back with your nonsense.
Would be shocked if Trey Lance can beat out Purdy next year unless something big changes. Lance in his few chances just seems lost in a very simplified version of their offense. Purdy stepped right in and looked like a seasoned veteran. Brock has a much higher football IQ than Lance for sure....
I teach math after school (elementary -- through 6thgr.) to Math Olympiad students in my school, and it amazes me how you can usually predict, based on test scores, how the kids will handle these rather odd and bizzare math problems. However, like one in ten kids, for whatever reason, have mediocre or bad test scores; some can't multiply worth the darn, and often make mistakes with regular addition and subtraction parts of problems....but give them a puzzle or a geometry question with circles and quadrants etc....and once in a while you find a genius hidden in there. Nobody can explain this crap...it's not in the books. You don't know until the moment of truth sometimes. But, let's not forget, that, that exact kind of analytics works MOST of the time. Purdy is not MOST....he's that hidden genius...and SF got lucky. IMO.
I would never have drafted a guy like Dwayne Haskins or a guy coming out like Caleb Williams. Guys who make it look way too easy in college have peaked too soon. Give me a Brock Purdy every time.
Kyle Shanahan is a fantastic coach, yet I expected it from him. His father was a great coach, it’s in Kyle’s DNA. What I found odd, was the hatred some of the hating fans had, blaming Trey’s injury on Kyle, absurd.
I think the question should've been how all these other teams didn't see Brock's qualities. The guy was playing exceptional football for four years here in Ames and in the Big 12.
Kittle would be a legitimate HOF if 49ers actually got a legitimate QB throwing to him n since Purdy been the QB...Kittle is far better than Kelce because Kittle can actually block
Bottom line, everyone and I do mean everyone on that team is doing an absolutely great job . It's not just Purdy. His line is keeping him safe. They are catching the ball no matter where he throws it . Running backs, giving that extra yard push on every run . And the defense speaks for themselves. Healthy, they can literally crush everyone

The 10,000 Hr rule. Guitar players, for example, Edward Van Halen. He mastered 10,000 hrs by age 16.
Rock in peace Edward Van Halen. 🎸☝🏽✊🏽😔
I miss the mike McDaniels conferences. He was so good at them
Let's Go Niners!!!!!!!
I like to play the over and under on Kyle's "Umm's" 50 is the baseline but betting the over on 75 really depends on how long the press conference lasts.
The 49er’s were lucky AF. The experts miss 93% of the time. A true player has heart, great work ethics, and will sacrifice for the greater glory of the team. -Ret USAF
Fire the Chargers coach. POS.
The most relevant Mr Irrelevant ever imo.
No way they knew Brock could do what he is doing.
No injuries and he sits.
True and nobody knew what Tom Brady or Joe Montana could do they turned out to be top two QBs in history.
that hat is hard, is it on the nfl shop? im trying to invest
I think he’s Kyles guy. Not Lance
The same guys picked Trey Lance, so there seems to be a lot of luck involved.
Yeah pretty much. You never know how a player will develop and how competitive and driven they truly are especially after becoming millionaires. Some guys get rich and then half ass everything. The great ones have that big chip on their shoulders and something to prove.
Trey is far from ready
Trey Lance need lots of improvement..1st: his throwing mechanics..2nd his accuracy problems short and intermediate routes..3rd learns to read defense pre and post snaps and 4th..he need to learns how to slide
Tre ain't shit and watch . Well get rid of him ... why you think mysteriously he's hurt and out. We don't want him. Thank GOD for Brock Purdy 🙏
And thank you God for tre getting his shit broken
@@mcchulogan91 Purdy wasn't a starter until he played, and you can say the same for Trey. Go and watch his full pro day on CZcams and then come back with your nonsense.
I was super happy to get trey but trey don't run this offense as well as Brock in that's just facts but next year will be that debate
Four personals 😂Kyle is happy 😂
Kyle Shanahan explains how the 49ers were blessed with Brock Purdy. Fify
I trust John Lynch and Kyle will bolster the Offensive Line/Replace McGlinchey and allow Purdy or Lance to thrive
Did he mention Garappolo on the injury report? Lol
If Brock purdy turn out a winner Super Bowl QB niners don’t have other choice but make him a franchise QB! Go niners
I still don't get what they saw in Trey Lance.
I asked myself the saee thing since day 1
For Sure he's Bad Ass
Grant- feel free to use this: Kittle over the Middle like YA Tittle! Your pops knows who YA is /was to the niners.
Smells like its our year.
155k? Impressive Grant
Kyle ..... um Shanahan!!! 😂😆
Kittle caught the ummm bug as well lol
I think you screwed up giving up first round picks for Trey Lance..
COHNZILLA 💪🏻
IMO.
Brock Party...
I love how he said Kittle had an INT lol
Cause he took the ball lol 😂
He’s going to be a good one I can see that….
This is why bill wash says you should draft a qb every year
God blessed Brock he’s a devout Christian, this is Gods hand!
I would never have drafted a guy like Dwayne Haskins or a guy coming out like Caleb Williams. Guys who make it look way too easy in college have peaked too soon. Give me a Brock Purdy every time.
Man, it's because they are real smart. That's why they picked Trey Lance.
Kyle Shanahan is a fantastic coach, yet I expected it from him. His father was a great coach, it’s in Kyle’s DNA. What I found odd, was the hatred some of the hating fans had, blaming Trey’s injury on Kyle, absurd.
There is a @Grant Cohn video where he was sure B.Purdy was Trash! 😆😂🚩
Maybe kiley shampoo should talk about how the ravens discovered Mr irrelevant
How the 49ere Discovered Purdy??
They were looking for kurt warner
I think the question should've been how all these other teams didn't see Brock's qualities. The guy was playing exceptional football for four years here in Ames and in the Big 12.
@@stergiosserres6680 He lost to Hawkeyes 3 times so they thought he couldn't have been good.
kittle is way better because dink and dunk jimmy cant throw a deep pass But Purdy can!!!!!
Kittle would be a legitimate HOF if 49ers actually got a legitimate QB throwing to him n since Purdy been the QB...Kittle is far better than Kelce because Kittle can actually block
Kittle has 13 games 100+ yards. 12 with Jimmy, one with Brock.
I want to see Purdy and Trey Lance both on the field at the same time on some saints type shit please do it Coach
Thats what i been saying. The rams wouldve lost last year if kyle had a package w trey and jim
And look at him now. But getting CMC was the best thing they could've done.
VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED: This video contains 14,627 ummm's
He was floating in the river while the Egyptians were killing all babies
🤣
But Moses was kept secret on the riverbank by two Egyptian women.
They had no choice. They would looking to get brady.
Well more "Click Bate" title is about how Shanahan "discovered Brock Purdy" well that content never happens in this video.
Thanks. I'm at 14:07 & turning it off on ur comment----only saved me 1.5min but still thankful, bro.
Tell the truth!!! You got lucky!!!
49ers missed on Brady Rodgers Mahomes CMC
Bottom line, everyone and I do mean everyone on that team is doing an absolutely great job . It's not just Purdy. His line is keeping him safe. They are catching the ball no matter where he throws it . Running backs, giving that extra yard push on every run . And the defense speaks for themselves. Healthy, they can literally crush everyone
Bs, most other QB’s wouldn’t be anywhere near as efficient
Yeah Bosa was in his crib sacking his siblings
Trey who?
ask him how he didn’t discover mahomes lol
This Video is a typical scam. The title leads you into watching it but the topics of the video are something else.
sic lid
Niners all day
Love Brock, but coach also responsible for Trey Lance train wreck.
the US draft system is a bullshit. You can´t rate a guy based on the draft. Looking at soccer for example in the rest of the world, you see top talents coming from everywhere and at any moment, and even from different ages.
This headline is misleading.
the next Joe Montana😅😅😅😅
