One of the best team games I've played. So glad I decided to make this mod. Props to MattFred and Barnlord for keeping me alive to get those nukes off. I don't know Barnlord but we definitely bonded in this game 😂
For the record, Arm Stunner stuns Core units only, and Core Neutron kills Arm mobile units only. So if you've got a fight where all your tanks are kinda overlapping with each other, and it's Arm vs. Core, you can kill/stun their units without harming your own. Also, in ProTA, they were given a huge default damage so that they should clear wrecks by hitting them.
Noted for 4.5, make the Silencer/Retaliator missiles look different from the Neutron/Stunner missiles so you know which is which 🤣

yeah your team played solid, unfortunate for knob but it all worked out in the end! ohh that makes sense. I was wondering why I was seeing units blow up and not structures lol. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
Yes please do lol! Oh is there anyway to make the icons for nukes and neutrons/stunners different on the megamap? that would be cool too.
That game was epic, it's the best i've seen so far. Loved the back and forth!
Was hoping to see pepperoni make the come back but she hung tough though, mad props.
venom being able to take over the space in top left and team east not pushing early enough was the difference. was really impressed by barnlord as the game went on, seemed to make all the right moves
Yeah giving venom more economy &space to play with really paid off. Great teamwork & play from barnlord. Surprised how well he played. He definitely knows what he's doing.

was playing regular ta for last month or so. its amazing how some games are just timeless. still perfectly functional rts experience with minimal clunkiness. could have done with some zoom functionality. still a considerably better experience than most rts games that have come since.
The modded versions of TA have the megamap which is a very basic version of strategic zoom where it zooms you all the way out so you can see the whole map. I agree this game is a timeless classic!

Yeah arty creep was the winning strat and east abandoned it, I dont know why. Arty right up to the shore line, air anti nuke and flak for defense, navy to secure a beach head, repeat. Good lessons.
All those bombers reminds of the Sentinels in the Matrix movies

Pretty epic Hawk swarms. TimmyFred got nut punched, but the same trick failed on Venom. Maybe if they didn't go all in against Venom then they had a better chance. Surely one of the other two on Venom's team were more likely to fall. Glad to see the East side fall in the end, although I wouldn't begin to suggest West was in any way an underdog. Thanks for sharing.
yeah I was thinking the same thing. It's tough though because you also don't want to give Venom time to rebuild either.

i havent played TA in 10 years now, but if i remember correctly, the reason why moho mines were not economically efficient was because the cost of a solar farm and moho metal maker combo was more productive for the cost than moho mines EVEN on the largest 2.0 spots. the only exception was metal maps or the ultra-rare exception where 2 metal spots were adjacent and could be fully physically covered by the metal moho extractor. of course if a solar farm is more economically viable then you can imagine that wind farms and tidals (given the map) are even better, putting moho mines completely out of the equation in OTA. oh, yes and even fusions/metal moho makers were significantly better than moho mines... definite oversight by the cavedog dev team
yeah glad this was addressed in the mods. Add's an extra step to the mid game economy.
the original, original game did not have advanced metal makers I'm pretty sure, so that was just an oversight of the core contigency expansion.
The stunner nuke streaming past at 44:44 and the retaliator nuke 44:58 while you were going through the hover factory made me lol.
Epic game! Love seeing all these new players! Where did they come from, can't wait to see more from them. Was interesting to see that the sea was almost completely forgotten by both sides after the initial battle for it was won by East - but East didn't really do much with it, seemed to just be a holding ground for red's Tritons lol. Great game props to all of the players and big thanks for the cast Breezy, love to see it 😁
P.S. Would love to see a game where Stagma wins one for once 😂. No shade being thrown here, as he clearly plays well - and the same thing happened to Venom on Postal's channel where Venom hada run of like 4 or 5 casted games where he continually lost. Just feel like it must be sad not having a single dub being cast. Maybe he's got one and I just missed it. Also what ever happened to AidanNaut? You casted a game of his a while back, got any follow ups? I want to see the progression. I'm not making demands tho, any Beezy cast is a good cast :D
lmao me rambling on about hovers and they just casually fly by on the screen. I didn't even notice them at the time, too funny. Yeah that was probably the only thing a bit lacking in the game was sea. The big berthas & intimidators kind of made that too difficult to get going.
I think that's my first cast of Stagma ever. Definitely not my intention just an unfortunate coincidence. I know how Stagma feels, all my games that have been casted have been losses too lol. No one cares when Breezy gets a W but when he loses everyones gotta see!! lol just joking. AidanNaut hasn't been active as of late. He came back for a day or so and played some games, hes improved a lot since the last casts! Some of the best team games were 5v5s or 4v4's with 2 watchers which cant be replayed or watched so cant cast those... Only reason I know about them is because I saw them on someones livestream. I'm just trying to find the most balanced games that are good but those are slim pickins as most games aren't balanced and one sided.
I try to make every cast have different players in it the best I can. Thanks Matt appreciate that bud!

@@BreezyCastsTM awesome I will definitely check it out. I've got some free time to fill up. I remember msn zone, played lots of games there, pretty sure this was one. Question, what are the recommended specs? Guessing minimal, but does the game run better with more ram for example, or more video? I seem to recall that ram heavy back in the day gave an obvious performance boost. I think I ran on something like 4 x 64mb haha
One of the best team games I've seen in terms of not knowing how it would end. Do players ever target enemy planes on patrol with Berthas to extend the range and cause spray and pray damage to the enemy base?
yeah the balance in this game was really good, most the time it's not like that. I haven't seen anything like that, the patrol would have to be in range and if it has enough veterancy it can also just shoot planes out the sky too lol.

Epic game, like a modern type of chess (when commander dies) loves the different type of units, but the Hawks kind of ruin it

Well if she decides to play escalation that would be a possibility. I know she prefers ProTA though. I do plan on casting some Escalation at some point. I actually did WarJacks co-op escalation campaign mission #3 with pepperoni if that interests you.

Its always disabled in a replay & I dont think there is a way to change that.
RRN is actually not very balanced, there's more land area on the left... Top left corner has the best position
