I was going to thumbs up but that belch tore my speaker.

I can't put my finger on why BAR is so much less enjoyable than supreme commander for me, perhaps it is the time to kill on buildings and the general uselessness of the commander and how fast bots are. It feels so much less strategical and much more just a giant spamfest of units and stuff and very little proper decisionmaking. Perhaps that's just me being a noob, who knows. But at least in this match it feels exactly like that too. One team spammed more of the right units, got one runby in, that's it basically.

Also about the slow pace of escalation, it's only specific to Big team game on spécial Map bro. When you watch Exe vs Race or Rock on 1v1 big Map you don't see defensive race into T3, but Big T1 and T2 battles

Nice games! The Taoster IS way better than thé guardian but you were 1v2 , ennemy had too many morties. + You invested a lot of métal in a Bertha that didn't pay out !If ennemies has morties and you're on défense you should go for Toaster sooner, and surround sentinels with dragon's teeth Also if you went for ADVanced véhicules you could have counter morties with dislocators

Nice games, enjoying watching these live gameplay videos. Roaches have been nerfed in esc but still pack a punch at t1 you can load multiple into t2 transports which are also deadly. I still avoid them for apm reasons. Turning off mohos or mantles are absolutely worth it rn. It gives 4x armor bonus effective immediately. Again, for apm reasons ill typically only do this for the large pads that are too valuable to lose. ~stag jr

at minute 5:36 how did you order const to make mex, then switched to radar by clicking in menu, then back to mex without going to menu?

Damn, it would be so cool to have the full campaign available with Escalation rebalancing and changes to units... And no, I don't even mean having access to all units: Just the ones each campaign mission is supposed to give you, but with Escalation support (meaning rebalancing like I said + extra graphical features in explosions and 3d models) In any case, I remember how around 2013/2014 or so, I played the TA campaign (and Battle Tactics) using using Escalation, and it was nothing short of amazing. Each unit now had specific tactical utility -- even more so than in the base game -- and you really had to make an intelligent use of your radar, and getting to know when it was time to use the artillery or the anti-tank units. For some reason, the campaign support seems to have been retracted... but I REALLY hope they re-instated it as soon as possible. I like multiplayer skirmish matches as much as the next guy, but there's something particularly "realistic" and engaging about campaign missions, and those highly asymmetrical maps from the campaign. Also, the fact you get to see enemy units doing patrols through "realistic" pathways only increases the immersion, as in "wow, there's a real war going on"

That *is* a lovely map. Is this music from the Final Fantasy VII remake? I recognise the tracks for the first reactor mission, the normal fight theme, and the boss fight theme. 12:19 - That sounds like rock-paper-scissors. Not weird at all. Well-balanced. 31:33 - Buffalo's defeat looks certain at this point. Excessive focus on Pelicans IMO.

Your channel and another TA channel came across my recommendeds like a week ago and damn it made me want to play TA for the first time in years! TA was one of the first computer games I had, on my first ever computer - an IBM Aptiva 200Mhz Pentium processor and I think 16MB (lol) of ram. Or maybe it was 32MB. I remember some of the big maps in OTA made my computer chug. Anyway I bought TA on GOG and I'm working my way through the campaign as well! GG

Thanks for bringing this game to us. I'm surprised the mega-map was used so seldom (like 1% of the video)- it's a great way to convey the general picture once unit types/players are introduced. It's otherwise sometimes quite difficult to get a full idea as a casual viewer. Keep the vids coming as life allows, no pressure but it's a good role in the community!
