- Hi we are Rozzie, Rob & Ralph the nutty cockapoo and we have given up the rat race, sold our house and have bought a new narrowboat, Thistle & Rose. Our vlogs are showing our learns as we go from bricks and mortar to life on the water. Join us as we literally learn the ropes of becoming continual cruisers on England's 2500 miles of canals & rivers.

Hello Rozz and Rob, i am just back tracking over your videos and watching ones i have missed in the past, the Christmas 2022 is areal good one and it reminds me of when I was a boy and the bad winter of 62/63 and the Grand Union Canal in west London was frozen over for many weeks and as it was opposite our school we would skate on it after school every day (it got a bit dodgy when the thaw started). Your Boat looks better every time i see it and your Xmas decorations looked great, i spent years in the Army travelling to many Countries but i would love to live the life you are having but age and health have ganged up on me, keep making your great vlogs i enjoy being with you on your travels and adventures. great video guys you looked nice and cosy in your boat we are on Overwater Marina at the moment doing the live aboard thing with are new boat we got a bit caught out though as are toilet tank needed pumping out and we were advised not to move the boat and we also needed to fill the Diesel tank at the front for are reflex Diesel stove in the saloon so there we were no toilet or heating so we bought a porta potti and a Gerry can so we got sorted in the end and then all the water pipes frozen so we had to ration the water till they thawed out what a week but we learned a lesson or two . wish you both a merry xmas and a happy new year .

How clean is the water in the canal? Can you fish from your narrowboat? If so could you eat the fish? Rivers in the US are not that healthy to be able to do that.
All grey water goes in the canal. We don’t fish so not sure what the situation is with fish! 🤪
